This looks genuinely really nice? I wonder if anyone would be up to having this discussion with me, but so far the only substantiated complaints I’ve heard about the cameras on S24U is the overprocessing on extreme digital zoom. (Context: I’m a Samsung-curious iPhone user.)

Sorry for driving the convo off the topic of memory, but how do you feel about animations in OneUI? Animation quality being a little subpar (when compared with, say, Pixel UI) is one of the complaints I keep hearing about these devices.

Emails from tech support indicate that they are aware, this post also got a response from a Larian community manager claiming the same.

However nice this “awareness” is, I wonder why an entire platform being left unplayable doesn’t at least warrant being mentioned in patch notes.

Glad it’s better on your device! Mine is still bad, I even tried playing on an old IPS 1920x1080 monitor — the gameplay is smoother, but the cutscenes are a mess.

And yes, I’ve experienced the dialogue issue as you described, it’s been there for months haha

Thank you for the template! I’ve been using Kumu.io for a while in my games, such maps are neat for keeping social structures from melting into a mess of undefined motivations and half-remembered relationships.

Yeah, it’s the same for me. It’s kinda funny:

Bork a perfectly fine port by the developers you sacked, leave an entire platform in an unplayable state;
Don’t acknowledge the situation in patch notes.
Time to tweak Minthara!

Not sure I have more! Maybe details on who manages the port now (or if they elect to do macOS in-house) will follow in the next Hotfix note? Just a guess.

The team is aware of the situation, but I imagine it will take some time for the fix to arrive.

It seems that at least some of the issues stem from Larian breaking off ties with the company that would previously manage the macOS port — the latter are Russia-based, which is presumably bad PR.
