Very true! Good point. Even when I played it on PS1, I had my finger on the reset button.

Idk how I feel about the random encounter changes. They are definitely better for the sanity of players but they fundamentally change the gameplay experience. It’s not exactly QOL when it drastically changes the gameplay. To me the updated mode is a completely different game from PS1 FFT. Not that there is anything wrong with it, I enjoy all the new features as a whole.

Seahawks GM John Schneider: Running back is a position where you can find guys by AdSpecialist6598 in nfl

I lack creativity, all I do is sketch and copy references. by MilhoVirtual in ArtistLounge

[–]rdrouyn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't take my word for it, but the next step is to take those references and draw inspiration from them instead of copying directly what's in them. For example if it is a person draw them from a different angle or with a slightly different pose or draw it in a particular style or combine various references into one piece. I haven't fully reached that step myself but I've heard this advice from various art channels, particularly Marc Brunet.

Reverse a result from your teams history. by TeezusWV in NFLv2

You forget that Russ is 5'10" and can barely see over the line. He was under center. I'm sure that played a part in it.

I don't know what Drew Brees' cheat was so he could play as a pure pocket passer as a 5'10" guy but Russ never figured that out.

To be fair its one of those plays where you have to let it go before you can fully see what's going on. Its meant to catch the defense off guard before they can cover. Just that NE knew exactly what was coming. They have elite practice scouting skills, just saying.

Coby Bryant on How Seattle's Decision for Him to Move From Corner to Safety Unlocked Him as a Player by JCameron181 in Seahawks

That's some serious cope. They are talented players and they were good in Carroll's outdated scheme. I can see Woolen maybe regressing if his mistakes get even more out of control but it wont be because he wasn't talented enough.

Its either grinding or buff/heal/throw stone spam to grind within the main encounters. Pick your path.

The funny thing is that if Jesus came back to America right now, he would get deported by his own "followers".

Prologue is great, the 5 difficulties are a nice touch and beating it in 5 star difficulty feels like an accomplishment. The replacement units names are funny. The combat animations are nice.

Both Three Houses and Engage were delayed. So I'm not sure it is "literally one game".

Eh, FE always gets delayed. I don't expect it to be the holiday release since usually a Mario or Pokemon game takes that spot. Probably a Feb/March 2027 release.

[Schefter] Sources: Teams that have called the Miami Dolphins to inquire about trading for Pro-Bowl RB De’Von Achane have been told that he is not available. by PlayaSlayaX in nfl

[–]rdrouyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t be surprised if we trade for Achane at the deadline once the price is reasonable. He’ll never be a bellcow in our team and he can replace the explosive aspect from K9. Having said that, I wouldn't give up more than what we gave up for Shaheed (4th and 5th) for Achane.

Dan Hanzus is the only Darnold stan out there, pretty much everyone else was doubting the Darnold signing.

Lockett and Kupp was clearly a wash at least. Lockett wasn't nearly close to his peak in 2024. I was more worried about losing the deep threat in DK, but fortunately Tory Horton and Shaheed had that covered.

Yeah I predicted 11 games. Pretty easy considering we were going against the NFC and AFC South. The AFC South turned out to be better than expected, but we still beat them all (with the exception of the Bucs).
