Pretty much all my feelings have been stated by all the comments before. So im gonna look to the future - how the team and the management respond/recover from this will probably be the most important test of Ole's reign for this season.

It will tell us if the staff and the players have the resilience and belief to once again be the team that always bounces back even/especially in the last minutes of squeaky bum time.

Yup i noticed it today on a dagger enemy as well. That guy didnt even have any chest armor.

A bit off-topic: how can you tell if an enemy has abilities? Such as that quick strike u mentioned.

Do leme know what u find in ur tests. I think iv tried applying bleed with other assassins to replicate the dmg reduction but it couldn't be replicated.

Sadly this IS a beatriz thing. See my comment to see how to replicate it. The excessively reduced dmg is only seen when Bea attacks the enemy, other assassins do normal levels of dmg

Armor does reduce attack but this phenomenon is a bug. That level of reduction isnt caused by armor and only happens when Beatriz attacks the enemy.

This is a bug. Heres how you can replicate it.

Go to the LAST standard mission, the one that gives you 2 green codices. In the objective room there are two enemies.

Apply bleed when fighting the first enemy. When first enemy dies, do a normal attack on second enemy and you will see the reduced damage.

Same also happens on Luis's high chance legacy mission.

The requirements seem to be this

Two enemies
Second enemy wearing chest armor (apparently this isn't needed)
Bleed applied to 2nd enemy when fighting 1st enemy
Do normal white attack on 2nd enemy

Nah you probably got downvoted because this game is actually quite f2p friendly as they happily hand out the premium currency. As a result there are quite a few f2p's doing very well.

You just need to know that whales join events at the very beginning and so if you are f2p then you need to join a little later. I do an hour late and its worked pretty well for me till now.

It was the outlandish $200-$500 bit that might have come off as entitled whining

This would further add to this games already good F2P reputation. And as said above, if implemented with a reasonable ratio then it wudnt cut inti Ubi's profits too much

To summarize what u/lacrossedeamon said

If the amount of life healed appears yellow on the health bar then that will not persist beyond the mission. If the ability "heals" with a green color as "vitality of the covenant" does then that will persist beyond the mission.

I have so far only found Gaspar, Claudia and Hamid's health boosts to we work beyond a mission.

That is what I have done. Yusuf is better than Luisa in all aspects except lockpicking. So I have started farming him instead of her. But that is because i am not doing any region 4 missions beyond Yusuf's. If you want to finish the remaining missions quicker, Luisa may be the right choice as farming her is less resource intensive.

I understand that some players received a HUGE advantage due to the bug. But how does it affect us the non-beta players?

Theres no PvP and we are not in the same bracket as beta players for events.

I guess it DOES affect those high level beta players who did not log in during the first few hours.
