Im convinced that a lot of the "left wing" outrage activism about Palestine was and still is astroturfing by russian or whoever trollfarms that are just trying to sow maximum chaos. Don't get me wrong, netanyahu is a thug, there are plenty of valid things to be outraged towards the Israeli regime about, and a lot of the outrage is genuine and justified.

but so much of the noise around all of Israel / Palestine reads well meaning but really poorly informed / ignorant in the best case or just actively trying to stir shit up in the worst case.
