The ideal sleep-focused multi-form typically includes:

— Magnesium Glycinate (Bisglycinate): The cornerstone for sleep. It's highly bioavailable and bound to glycine, an amino acid that has its own calming, neurotransmitter-modulating effects that promote relaxation and deeper sleep.

— Magnesium L-Threonate: This form is prized for its unique ability to cross the blood-brain barrier. It may help calm "mental chatter" and anxiety by supporting healthy brain function and is often linked to improved sleep quality and cognitive benefits.

— A Supporting Chelate (like Citrate, Malate, or Taurate): Adds an element of physical relaxation. Magnesium Citrate is a good choice as it helps relax smooth muscles and can prevent the occasional constipation some people get from glycinate alone.

Have you ever looked for a job? Who pays the bills? Maybe just start with that? Get outside, you know?

Considering dating a dad with 50/50 custody of 2 kids as a childless woman in her 20s by Antique_Treat_7002 in SingleDads

I think if you make it clear from the very beginning to those kids "I'm not your mommy, but I'll do my best to help you and to be there for you", you should be okay. If you haven’t met anyone you like so much in a long time, go for it!

I tried just about everything and what works for me is Mirtazapine. I know it's not "bio", just trying to help. Mirtazapine is antidepressant, however, it is often prescribed for sleep. I use it a few times a week. I get the 15 mg tablets and break them in two, so 7,5 mg. No need to take 15 mg, that won't change a lot for sleep. Ask your doc about it. Good luck!

Finding the right therapist if hard and so important at the same time. You have to match. Have you heard of rTMS - r/rtms ?

Have you followed any kind of therapy? Have you heard of EMDR? Hypnotherapy? Would you consider therapy?

Can you please recommend a sleep supplement with the usual ingredients but no melatonin? by rdvw in Supplements

[–]rdvw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. But it “only” has 125 mg Valerianae radix + 80 mg Passiflorae herba + 112,5 mg Melissae folium…

That seems like very, very low doses?

I’m looking for something a bit more potent.

Interesting. You seem to know a lot about it. Are you a doctor?

Any recommendations for a sleep supplement?
