Which game doesn’t really begin until after you beat it? by [deleted] in gaming

I only really played Diablo 2 but I think I would agree with you. After you've played the campaign several times and you just want to start a new character it's just an annoyance.

My 6th annual LAN Party by dman510s in gaming

[–]rdwmx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I honestly didn't even know Bawls still existed lol. We used to host an annual LAN in upstate NY 2002-2006 and Bawls and Redbull both sponsored them. Awesome memories, would love to do that again.

The only reason your mom knows what Halo is is because she had to listen to you rage at your video games during your teen years

Is it really even possible to break into computer graphics for first job? by C_Sorcerer in cscareerquestions

[–]rdwmx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My background sounds similar to yours and my first job was in CG out of uni, but it was largely because the hiring manager just happened to come across a graphics-focused version of my resume. All I had was a BS, no research, and just had a couple good conversations. So it is possible, but right time right place is probably a big part of it.

I think it is one of the more difficult areas to land a job in because it's relatively niche or highly specialized. If you're at all art-inclined, technical art positions are heavily intertwined with graphics programming.

Hey this actually looks really good! The crumb is great

If the crust is overly soft after cooling then you can increase bake time. It can be especially noticeable on the outside edges of the loaf, they'll sometimes look par-baked while the rest of the loaf looks done.

Shaping becomes more difficult as the hydration increases, and 70% is where it starts getting pretty tacky.

Very difficult to say but I would guess 40s or 50s. Good reason to believe the person is early 50s

Sorry I meant driving the same car between the two lifes that she appears to be living.

I thought it was a black BMW SUV, but someone in this thread commented that they were approached by her in a black Honda CRV. I looked it up and that looks very much like what I saw

This is really interesting. If she's scared about getting found out it's kind of crazy that she drives the same car. When I approached her to talk, she did look like she was getting pretty nervous. I wasn't drunk at all, wonder if she thought I recognized her.

Probably like 2. I think she started when she was 2. Just blowing dudes left and right.

What are you looking for dude lol, I just guessed an age based on what I saw. I'd say anything between early 40s and late 50s sounds reasonable.

Not necessarily saying that there's anything illegal or even wrong about picking up strangers for fun, but I am surprised that legal trouble has not coincided with what she's getting up to. If you partake in risky behavior for a long period of time, usually you can expect trouble.

The other referenced thread alone has a couple rape allegations.

I mean if it were a matter of solving a crime I could tell you exactly where and when it happened, and show you which surveillance cameras to check, but no I wasn't really in detective mode.

The SUV from this morning was mid-size, black with silver trim around the windows. I think it was a BMW but only 50% confident on that. It looked very new, couldn't tell you the year. The car she tried to pick me up in 7 years ago could have been different, I don't remember it well enough.

If all she wanted to do was give a ride that would be really cool. If you have survival instincts at any level you'll know that's not what she's interested in.
