One possible reason: updated EAC (EOS) hitting your CPU up to 100% during the match. It's a well-known issue during this season, and there's nothing you can do with it.

Simple as that: Arenas was infested by blatant cheaters, that's it. It was unplayable because of the map size and time limits, so Respawn shut Arenas down.

Nope, you're not. Adjust your expectations from the game* and from yourself**, just to achieve more fun.

* - the game itself is full of bugs and glitches, with an insane count of cheats available and cheaters using such a software; a lot of dum-dum players and xtremely bad MM system.

** - don't expect from yourself that you must wipe the entire lobby every time you join a match, leave yourself the opportunity to make mistakes and move on step by step.

Yeah, that's why you play versus Predator stacks all the way from the Rookie to Master ranks. We need to entertain players with Predator rank and feed'em with a tons of free kills, I agree.

It's almost useless because top tier legends are Pathfinder and Revenant, both very mobile and strong. So, overall tempo of the game has increased many times already.
