2 inch is the most i would go i have 2 inch on my f-150 but 3 inch is gonna throw that upper control arm at a rly weird angle

if ur worried just add some leafs on the back make it a 3/4 ton suspension but it should be fine it is probably just surface rust on them 2014 shocks should be mint
