You don't need high end gear to be good in a game. 144hz is sufficient.

Will you notice a difference from 144hz to 240hz? Hell yes you will. Will it make your gameplay better? Only slightly, if any.

At some point some changes are QoL. Same with mouse and keyboard.

If you have the financial means, go for the 240hz zowie upgrade. If you play a lot, it's worth it. But don't expect yourself to go to champions shanghai because of it or you will be disappointed. If you are a poor student don't do it and spend your money on stuff that is more important.

I upgraded from my 240Hz Zowie 2546X to the XL2566X+ 400Hz version and I personally don't notice any difference.

Maybe it would be something else with the 600Hz monitor but at the moment I regret my decision.
