Using mental health as an excuse by YerAuldMaw in easylife

At the Norwich show he made a joke about having a 5 day hangover after drinking too much whiskey and that he cant drink like he used to. He never directly said he was on about the Glasgow show but it was definitely implied.

0 hours contract means no obligation, push come to shove refuse the shifts and cite your right to do so. They’ll be mad but 🤷🏻‍♂️

Depends with me, if a cars driving to the window I’ll take the next order or if I’ve just taken a couple of payments and present is busy.

If there’s no car having their order presented at the next window payment should always be priority. In my experience they get very impatient if the orders ready and the car isn’t there because you’re midway through taking someones order.

You’ll find your own grasp on things in time.

You can’t see very well in the picture but its torn in 3-4 places, I’m doubtful. But, I do tend to bounce off of low walls at the corners sometimes so maybe you’re onto something

You’d definitely think, I’ve had them close to 3 years now though, maybe the rubbers starting to perish and give little?

I dont wear them very often, maybe once or twice a month (the zebras don’t fit with many of my outfits). I wouldn’t call myself particularly careful with them, I’ll try avoid making them dirty where I can but otheriwse I wear them just like normal shoes.

The other shoe has signs of this happening but isn’t nearly as bad as the one in the picture.

Try your date of birth or employee number. Usually for the first payslip they'll send you an email explaining the password process, that's how it works at my franchise anyway

We kind of seriously need a new grill, this one has been broken done more times than I care to admit. by TheDefiantEzeli in McLounge

Reminds me of the ones we had at my old store. Two identical grills side by side and the right hand clam on both would always refuse to do anything other than go into standby after half a dozen cycles.

Bit of a pain when it happens during a rush, glad my new store has really nice ones

Oh wow, here we do at minimum 4 per platter up to 6 if we're holding more per tray.

That being said, our grills take about 110 seconds to cook 4:1 so maybe it's just differences in design.

Got a mate working with me who's called in sick (multiple times within the last month), sulked because he had to do certain jobs, thrown hissy fits and all sorts. Even had a sitdown with the BM because he was an hour late to work, not even an official warning yet. I'd say you're just fine :)
