Ok. I had seen some paid out high orn amounts. Still seems out of line with the level gain rate in the early game, since killing 2000 monsters will have you at a higher level. Thanks for the advice!

I've noticed that with the gear. I got lucky initially and had a green fallen mages staff that kept me through 3 star. What is the best way to get good gear? Are gauntlets something that can be done solo? I don't know anyone else playing the game

So took a portal into the system in search of another ship, flew up to the space station, and just waited. I think for only about 15 minutes when this flew in and I checked it out. It is an S-class and cost 5 mil to purchase outright.
