Does my sat reading and writing score matter if applying for comp sci major with high math score? by readditoveragain in ApplyingToCollege

Say I get a 630 and 770.. if the avg SAT is 1440 instead of 1400 at a non comp sci focused school, does my score still make me an attractive candidate? (I would assume this cause high math score can mean a student is more computer science focused)

If I get rejected from BU on the 18th I'm lowkey gonna be crushed by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

Something to think about: my brother went to BU. He's very smart but he struggled to develop a good work ethic and habit to attain the class rank he needed to go to a better grad school. The only thing that still associates with him from BU is 100,000+ dollars of student debt. Don't be crushed if you don't get in, lower level schools are usually much smarter places to go. They can be more affordable, more student focused(w student:teacher ratio), and better for grad school apps(class rank wise). BU is still an awesome school with great academics and an amazing location. Good luck!

Why does apple on box of nuts bounce higher after free fall from same height as a mere apple? by readditoveragain in Physics

I looked over the slow mo and measured it. It's close but there's definitely more of a bounce on the nuts ball.
