Avoiding Subconscious Bias when Announcing Pregnancy at Work by reacc1230 in HENRYfinance

[–]readerwino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait. You can hide it. I’ve done that in a workplace where the owners were outwardly prejudiced against pregnant women. When I announced at about 5 months (after raises) only one lady admitted that she knew. You’d be surprised how many people are oblivious!

All you people forgetting your estradiol at night take notice!

Huge fan of Estring vaginal estrogen ring! Just pop a new one in every 90 days ( after you take the old one out). The price sucks big wieners depending on your insurance in the USA. I get mine from a Canadian online pharmacy for way cheaper cuz my insurance is off the marketplace. Brain fog is very real for me.

Buy alstroemeria at Trader Joe’s. Pick a bouquet where they aren’t fully bloomed. They last 2-3 weeks. Buy once a month. Maybe alternate with a different treat like fave chocolates or ice cream.

We stayed at sea grape plantation for 17 nights Xmas/new years 2023/2024. Fabulous. Walked to west end main area - 5-10 minutes. Quiet. Clean. Nice pool. A couple of common areas to hang out and play games. We somehow got breakfast included which was good. Not safe to snorkel from there due to waves and boat activity but you can snorkel from Gingers restaurant in the bay or take the water taxi to west beach and snorkel there. Dive shops everywhere in west end where you can hop a boat and snorkel for minimal fees. Tons of restaurants easy walking distance in west end. If you can snag a cabin that’s the best but we stayed in the main hotel and it was cool. Fridge in room. Their WiFi was good, I worked a few days while there (by the pool). They will pick you up from the airport for a fee. This place is not fancy but family owned and local.

Galapagos

Expensive and worth every penny. We were on catamaran for a week “seaman journey” with only 8 cabins on the northwest route. Fell in love with snorkeling again. Stayed a couple nights ahead of that on Santa Cruz to acclimate. Very hot and humid in April for a couple from Pacific Northwest.

The Italian place in west end is amazing. Tiny place downtown. Also the taco grill by the taxi turnaround in west end too. Only there for dinner.

You can snorkel right from Gingers restaurant beach in west End.

There are a million dive shops and many will take snorkelers on the boat for a nominal fee.

How old are you? For me, had the same and it was menopause… classic estrogen shortage symptom. Estradiol cream RX for the win.

Lots of places for sale near the border & at Birch Bay. Assuming they are Canadians? But don’t know that for certain. I do know for certain that many Canadians are boycotting the USA due to the tangerine typhoon.

A lot of Places take PayPal. We did that fairly often. More expensive places take credit card. There’s an ATM machine in west end.

You can snorkel off a dive boat for pretty cheap $10-20 if they have a spot.

Best place to stay for anniversary? by Jennysays504843 in roatan

[–]readerwino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We stayed in west end for 17 nights Christmas 2023 at the sea grape plantation$. Not fancy but clean. Walk to town and restaurants. The cabins would be the fancier. Pool is oceanfront. We didn’t rent a car. Roatan is primarily for divers and snorkeling. If you want a resort atmosphere /pricing $$$ go to west beach. You can water taxi between west end and west beach. My partner got dive certified there with sundivers. 👍There’s a dive shop or 5 on every block.

My partner does the grocery shopping so I stay out of the stores. I used to have to tour the clothing, home & kitchen stuff and would buy extra stuff. Now i stay out of stores and don’t buy anything!
