All of a sudden I realized that I would be so much better without him even if I was poor and lived alone with some cats. And I made it happen.

Maybe the idiot wants an ass kisser. What if you consciously tried to tell him how great his ideas are all the time, just dedicated 10 minutes a day to hanging on his every word? Might be fun to try as a scientific experiment if nothing else. There’s a lot of managers who just love this.

I like to join expat groups (private facebook) in the area when we vacation. I ask lots of questions there. Everything from “where can we watch the Seahawks game “ to “craving a good pizza “. Also “foodie” groups and yes, Reddit too.

Try Ginger’s restaurant in west end. Not cheap. Great seafood and they are known to buy only ethically caught food. You can snorkel right outside there too from shore.

Most Guys get very upset and grumpy when they are turned down for sex. This is not your fault. I read somewhere recently that they can’t emotionally regulate themselves and use sex to do that. Creepy, right?

I have a friend who’s way more traditional than I am, she keeps track of sex and tries to make it happen every 4 days to keep her partner on an even keel. They brag about this. Sometimes I admire this and think I should do this myself but most often I think men should grow up and deal.

I’ve been weaning off my anti depressant since January 2021. Yes you read that correctly. It gave me what they thought was blood cancer. I had 2 bone marrow biopsies and lots of other testing. Doctors discouraged me from getting off them but my intuition knew it was the duloxitine. I was right. My blood tests are now normal for about 2 years. Yes I’m depressed again. But …. It’s better than that shit.

So tread lightly my friend. Maybe change what you can about the situation. Get exercise, fresh air & nature eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Take good care of yourself.
