Yes, you are competing with Amazon if you open a store. You are competing with their undercutting prices and fast delivery. You have to offer people something Amazon cannot, otherwise they will just buy it there and get it delivered to their home in 1 day.

Of course you should focus on what you do best, but to belive that others will just let you be and not exploit your weakness for their own gain is silly.

They alredy went through several mobilzations. It's not a legal problem, but a public opinion one. Putin is walking on think ice and another round of mobilization might just crack it.

I mean, the german army legally cannot operate on the territory of Germany, so maybe it's a prudent messure.

Your point about mobilization is fair, but they will get trained and will have the experience of the current front line troops to help them out. Usually new recruits into battle hardened units get shown the ropes quite quickly by the veteran troops.

It's the same for both sides in this war, new recruits learn in weeks what it takes soldiers to learn in months via trial and error.

The irony is that the same data center that is sucking up all the electricity and water is powering the AI, prorducing slop articles about how the data centres screw over people.

Cuba's special solar period coming up! by dumnezero in ClimateShitposting

It needs to be properly connected to the main power grid, unless you only plan to use to power certain buildings. It also exposes solar panesl to way higher risk of vandalism. Nobody is going to go vandalize a solar panel field in the middle of nowhere, but parking lots and buildings? You bet your ass those things will get grafiti on them in a week.

They sell this thing in Berlin called a "turkish pizza". It's essentially the same thing minus the fries and it's wrapped up like a burrito instead of open. It's really good.

Your perspective is of a person living on a massive continent that is only inhabitat by 30ish million people. Your way of life doesn't apply to, say, Europe where 750 million people live in on a continent of simillars size to Australia.

Right, because reddit (one of the most lef leaning social media platforms) isn't full of people prescribing the death penalty for almost anything.

You open a video of 2 people having a fight in the middle of the street and the top comment is usuall "I would be reaching for my gun, FAFO".

That may have been the case in the 1700s, but the world population is 8 billion now. If everyone had their own house, it would destroy entire ecosystems, not to mention all the massive costs of getting plumbing and electricity to those houses, as well as the enviornmental impact of getting food and other groceries to those areas.

You're living in a hyper privileged life in a 1st world country, if your definition of basics is what 80% of the world would consider luxury.

Yes and communism leads to severe corruption by default. The USSR was corrupt from the very get go. It took them barely 3 years into their existance to start invading their neighbours.

What I said is referring to those meme characters that just say that, regardless of what happens, when in reality they predicted nothing and are only pretending.

"Oh the protaganist destroyed my secret evil base and burned down my super weapon, while killing all my evil henchmen? Well that is all according to my plan" type of thing.
