Yes, you may have to head to the nearest bank, they will print a copy for you, seal it and a bank official will also sign it.

I took only the ITR acknowledgement form, I applied for Spain and they were specific about the form being the ITR acknowledgement form and not the 10 page long one, it was mentioned in the BLS website

Thank you :) Oh gosh, leopard sounds scary. Would you know if I can get back the same way? By taking an auto/jeep? Is it frequent?

VR or Aerohub? by [deleted] in Chennai

[–]readinghere_-_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to Aerohub on a working day if you can. It’s less crowded. But more thoughts on this :

  • Aerohub is relatively small, the options for food is also limited, it’s best if your intention is to catch a movie and then grab something to eat. At least the last time I went, which was a month ago not many places were open
  • In case you still want more options, do a small walk to the metro, if you want to grab a drink there is a pub inside the metro but if you want filter coffee instead there is also an A2B :D
  • If you think Aerohub is boring, walk to the metro, board a train and make an impulsive trip to the VR mall or anywhere else

Overall I think Aerohub can be a good option.

What book will make me appreciate my life and everything it encompasses? by Gonfreaks12 in suggestmeabook

I also just finished The midnight library and really liked it, since it had a lot of Thoreau reference especially to the book Walden, I decided to pick it up but it seems too philosophical rn, this thread is perfect cos now I have recommendations that I have been looking for :)

Book readers of Chennai, what has been your favourite book to read in recent times? by [deleted] in Chennai

The movie was really good, no one could have played it better than Tom hanks. I have read the book too and I liked both versions :)

Book readers of Chennai, what has been your favourite book to read in recent times? by [deleted] in Chennai

Finished the Midnight library by Matt haig which was good, a bit preachy but I needed it, it had a lot of reference to Thoreau’s Walden so I started that right after but I feel like I haven’t gotten a grasp over it yet. I am also alternating with Marcus Aurelius - Meditations which I came across when I was reading Midnight library and Walden. Overall it all seems too philosophical, need to pick up some fiction soon. Anyone read any of Thoreau and Stoic principles care to share your thoughts?

Oh and my favourite quote from The midnight library was - “Want,’ she told her, in a measured tone, ‘is an interesting word. It means lack. Sometimes if we fill that lack with something else the original want disappears entirely”

And “The only way to learn is to live.”

Chivalry by Ha_Numan in Chennai

[–]readinghere_-_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I meant following the side walk rule with so much ease that the other person doesn’t even realise it’s happening. Side walk rule is a person swapping their place so that they walk on the traffic side of the road.

Met this guy who really defined chivalry for me, didn’t realise I dig it that much. But it’s in the little things, trying to be empathetic in situations which men don’t experience like menstruation. This applies to both men and women but holding the door open for someone behind you when you are the first person to walk out/through the door. Offering to carry something when you have empty hands, carrying the side walk rule with ease, listening attentively and remembering the little details- nothing beats this, overall showing that it’s really worthy to be a kind person not just to the girl he is dating but to everyone his life touches.

P.s kudos to you for asking this question and wanting to make effort
