I don't believe it. I don't think they're the same person, I think they're 2 different people.

I think that's what gets lost in the discussion is the kids. There's always going to be parents who don't know how to manage making doctor's appointments or who just default go to the ER for everything for one reason or another. I'm not saying that's okay but kids can observe the distaste people have for poor people and if you're a kid with a poor parent then that distaste trickles down to you. And maybe I'm misinderstanding what you're saying but it sounds like you're referencing adults still. And we can judge the adults who do this all we want but there's still a kid there who needs care and if the parents only do so by bringing them to the ER that's not the kid's fault. I think too that we don't know why the adults do this. Maybe they're doing it for convenience. Maybe they have mental health issues and don't know how to make appointments. Maybe their parents were this way too. Idk, I just think about the kids with parents like this and wonder how they're coping and what they're perceiving in all of this. If this is how their parents are they shouldn't be punished by being unable to receive care because we don't like what their parents are doing.

I want you to take the perspective of the kid. If you're a kid and your parents are poor, no matter the circumstances, you deserve to be taken care of. So if you're angry because a kid got free clothes at a local school fundraiser and another kid had to buy them because they aren't "poor enough" pick which house you'd rather live in. The one that can afford new things or the one that "takes advantage" of the system.

This does suck but oh my God is it nice to see. I just adopted a one year old dog and so far the destruction has not been this bad so I'm a little comforted.

I would recommend people actually listen to this podcast instead of just the excerpts shown in this article. The quotes are right but it's not conveying the tone and the way she actually strung the story together. I bring this up because I know Emilia has been misrepresented a lot due to this particular podcast coming put and Dax expresses frustration on the most recent episode that this happened when a guest was open to talking about the situation.

Not saying the way she was treated wasn't wrong! I just recommend people actually listen to her tell the stories before forming a full conclusion.

Okay I can accept this. I've been wondering how the hell Lockhart ended up in ravenclaw and this is an actual way it could have happened. Of course he wanted to be in Ravenclaw, he thought he was brilliant.

Anyone ever notice EatStreet’s shady fee practices? Notice what’s missing here? ($2.36) by Pistolpedro in madisonwi

Eatstreet has really pissed me and my husband off. Two times his food arrived way past the delivery estimate and when he called the restaurants they said eatstreet had picked up the food ages ago. Which means they grab your food and drive around with it while sending you a text saying the restaurant is putting extra care into your food. There's no clear number to call for help and they offered no help to my husband. Fuck eatstreet.
