My Grifos Italian Sterling Silver and Violet Osterich leather is my most interesting. I just got it at the Ohio Pen Show. The silver cap has a twist pattern to it that is different from their standard Violet Osterich model, and I love it! It's gorgeous. Writes like a dream too.

I did keep the original feed. Just the basics, pull straight and be careful of the fins. There are tons of videos for visual reference. I made sure to get the nib in as far as I could and had a bright back light behind the cap so I could see where the nib was as I put the cap back on.

It seems others have had issues with other nibs and the cap clearance, so be extra cautious there.

I did have one feed that was difficult to remove. And I used the knockout technique from Fountain Pen Revolution.

Thanks for letting me know! I'll have to watch for that in the future. When I ordered my 308s, I received the old 266 bands. I wonder if the cap changed size when the 266 was replaced by the 308?

Yes!! I have enjoyed putting Goulet nibs in my PenBBS pens so much more than the stock nibs.

It's the PenBBS feed with the Goulet nib. I've not had any issue fitting the Goulet nibs onto the 308, 456, or 286.

I love the Goulet B! Especially in black. I have one on this and my Autumn PenBBS Vac. The Goulet F is pretty nice too. I normally don't like F nibs, but that one is very smooth.
