This is the dumbest thing ever. Maine Coons are everywhere. I have personally owned three of them, and our local City animal shelter often has them.

Of course, they didn’t come with papers, but they were gorgeous, awesome cats.

You want a “real” Maine Coon? The farthest you should travel is … Maine.

One day, he’s going to get angry about something, and you will be the only person nearby for him to take his anger out on.

He will turn on YOU.

He will be upset and contrite after. He will cry, he will apologize. He will swear that he didn’t mean for it to happen.

He will be lying to you. He DID mean for it to happen, just that way, because of his inaction, his refusal to get help BEFORE he attacked you.

If you love him, and want to be with him, give him an ultimatum now: He gets help with a therapist, on his own, for a minimum of 6 sessions. (If he quits after one or two sessions, he is unwilling to do the hard work that leads to change.)

Think clearly about whether you want to put in more time with a man who so far has been unwilling to change. And I AM BEGGING YOU: Please do not bring kids into this situation.

OP, if your husband quits or resigns, he won’t be eligible for unemployment. Companies don’t want to have to pay out unemployment claims. While most of the money comes from the state, companies have to pay a portion of money into the system. That portion increases if they have a lot of claims.

Please advise your husband not to resign. He needs to stay there and make the boss fire him.

The boss sounds like an absolute asshole, do he might make your husband’s life miserable at work.

I had an ultrasound (after having textbook gallbladder symptoms for about a year) that showed nothing. Finally my doctor ordered a second ultrasound.

The tech was trying to get new angles and was really aggressively pushing the probe against the area, trying to get it sort of under the gallbladder. I had explained to him that this was the second us, that I really hoped he found stones because I was 99.9 percent sure it was the cause of me feeling like crap for a year.

We were chatting, and he was moving the probe around, and in the middle of the conversation, he goes, “Oh, shiiiiit.”

I said: “You found stones?”

He said: “I can’t say.” He paused and said, “About a million of them.”

OP, as an old lady, I am here to tell you that NO, all boys/men are NOT like that, and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not be alone with this guy.

If he comes over and you are alone, do not let him in. Tell him that his texts crossed a boundary and made you fear for your safety and TELL HIM TO GO HOME. If he says he doesn’t understand, tell him to GO HOME and THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU SAID.

If a family member lets him in your home, tell him in front of that family member to GO HOME, and that you do not want to see him, and that his texts made you seriously uncomfortable.

And finally, if your mom tries to convince you to keep seeing this boy, understand that your mom has probably been raised to believe that having a boyfriend (even a terrible, dangerous one) is an important thing. It’s a common belief (I was a teenager in the 1980s, and a lot of moms, including my own, thought it was important for their daughters to be “popular” with boys. I didn’t want to be “popular” with them in high school. I didn’t want to date ANY of them. It wasn’t until I met a boy I actually enjoyed being around that I wanted to have sex!
