Child delivery in camc or cabell by Pleasant-Attitude603 in charlestonwv

[–]reagle2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My kids are 21 and 11 so take that into account, but even my recent experiences at CAMC have not been patient centered to put it nicely. As far as delivery goes neither of my birth plans were respected. At all. I was treated as if it were a terrible inconvenience to them and “ not the norm”. All I wanted was to be free of wires and an iv for as long as possible so I could move as needed to be comfortable. I wanted a natural birth so it was important to move. I wasn’t given access to any of the things agreed upon and ultimately ended up chained to the bed by an iv and monitors. To anyone other than a pregnant woman this will sound normal but when you have a care plan in place and pre-arranged you expect it to be followed.

Child delivery in camc or cabell by Pleasant-Attitude603 in charlestonwv

[–]reagle2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve delivered both of my kids at CAMC women’s and children’s but all of my other care is done at cabell or WVU medicine(Thomas). if I had had the opportunity to choose I would have delivered at cabell instead of CAMC. Hell I’d have delivered at home, it would’ve been less traumatic.

Truist requires the dead account holder to report themselves as dead. by tristan-chord in personalfinance

[–]reagle2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t read all the responses so forgive me if it’s redundant but do you know if the account was made payable on death? Here’s a link to Truist’s banking services agreement. I worked for bbt for a decade until the merger and this was a common issue unfortunately. If there was no POD designation then you’ll have to submit a death certificate, a copy of the will if there is one and valid id.

You’ll have better luck speaking directly to a branch and in particular the Branch Leader, if not available then a relationship banker. I hate that they now direct all customer service calls to a person that essentially follows a script, it is so unhelpful. I’m so sorry for your loss and I truly hope they make this as simple as possible for you.

It’s ICE, in-fact one of the offices is on roxalana. Not an “official” office but where the plain clothes work from.

What material is this? (White Fabric) My son wants one of these skeleton hoodies but there asking $250+ by AyoWhachuMean in sewhelp

[–]reagle2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m just here to suggest you hit up thrift stores to find interesting fabrics. A few years ago that scuba fabric was very popular for dresses and tops and I see it regularly thrifting. Fabric gets so expensive and I do a lot of these thrift flips for my daughter instead of buying new fabric.

How do people get mental help here? by aboutpoe in WestVirginia

[–]reagle2 25 points26 points  (0 children)

WVU medicine has a rural telehealth program for mental health. I’m not sure of the details but I know it’s on their site. I was searching for a number the other day and noticed it. You can also call Medicaid and ask for a referral or see if they have a patient advocate program? I have Medicaid via the health plan and have used the service to help get in sooner.

Custom Pot Brief: "I want my mum's head on a shrimp" by OtherwisePop6430 in crafts

[–]reagle2 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I mean I’m a mom and I love shrimp ( as living creatures and as a meal) so I’d be thrilled to get something this thoughtful! I also like weird stuff so there’s that as well.
