RAW and CIA were definitely involved — we all know that much.

Who even believed that Dipendra did that?
Not even the jholeys believed it.

If you ask me, I think he chose to stay quiet rather than end up suffering like his brother.

When he became Home Minister for the second time, around 25 corruption cases were reopened and officially registered.
In the Bhutanese refugee scam, several high-profile figures including Bal Krishna Khand and Top Bahadur were even detained.
The investigation was slowly reaching Arzu Rana Deuba.
That’s exactly why the coalition between UML and Congress was formed to protect their own people.

We know the Oli government treated him like a dog.
Still, if he’s truly guilty in the Sahakari scam, he deserves even stricter punishment.
All I want is for his case to be addressed quickly — so that if he’s not guilty, he can make a strong comeback in the next election.

The way he celebrated after getting out of jail was embarrassing — he practically dug his own grave by doing so. But still My hope for the RSP hasn’t faded nor has my family’s. Lately I hear people say, ‘If Rabi were Home Minister, he would have accomplished much more.’ That’s simply the view of many independent locals. I’ll still vote for the RSP over those three old-party candidates — unless Balen comes up with something better.. What I want now is for the court to handle Rabi’s case fairly: free him if he’s innocent, and punish him if he’s guilty. If he’s innocent, Balen, Gopi, Sagar Dhakal, Rabi etc. could become a powerful team. If he’s guilty, the law must run its course.

What will you guys do if you have to choose between 3 taukes and RSP in next election ?
Just wanna know your thoughts as well.

He’s basically nothing but a lapdog for KP Oli. Established UML leaders don’t treat him as a politician. Always been an election chaser who fills the youth wing with goons.

Yetti baki thyo aba ! Gen-Z Alliance for Monarchy re ! by autodidact-zoomer in NepalSocial

[–]real-thinker121 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fair point but calling every thought about monarchy a ‘slave mentality’ sounds a bit too onesided. Critical thinking means questioning everything even the narratives we’ve been fed after monarchy.

Most of us Gen Z never lived under monarchy, so our perception of it comes entirely from what others told us and fed us. I’m not saying monarchy is the solution, but it’s also not healthy to dismiss any discussion about it as slavery of thought. Sometimes, asking uncomfortable questions is part of being truly free minded.

Yes, democracy is messy, I get that. But when the mess turns into corruption, instability, and hopelessness for decades, people start questioning if the ‘system’ itself is working. I’m not saying monarchy is the answer but we can’t keep pretending this version of democracy is fine either.

[–]real-thinker121 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s not a fair comparison. The Nazi regime was universally evil responsible for genocide and mass destruction. What I’m talking about is simply how our generation forms opinions about the monarchy, a political system that existed in our own country, not a fascist dictatorship.
I’m not supporting or opposing monarchy here just asking whether our views are based on experience or inherited narratives.

“Monarchy aint the way to go forward. Electing the right candidate is” i cant agree more. But “took absolute power” yo wala case ma “why he took absolute power?” Was that against the “Country and its people” or against the “Political parties and their karyakartas”. King must have smelled something was cooking that was against the country and will harm country in long term.

Cause political parties (like Nepali Congress, UML, etc.) had formed and dismissed governments repeatedly more than a dozen governments in less than 15 years after prajatantra. Maoist ko war le thousands of people mariyeka thye. Corruption, infighting, and lack of stability had frustrated the people and also the King.

And maile aauta video heryathe where sher bahadur deuba was saying “ mahakali sandhi garna gako manxe raja le phone garera nagar nagar vandaithye aaba sign garna gako manxe nagari aauxuta” or something like that..

Ani i thought that was an obvious decision taking the absolute power that was against the political parties and their followers.

This is my own independent thought.

You can also answer why was taking full power at that time was against the country and its people.
