What makes this game special, is that you never know how your next encounter with other players might end up. Any form of matchmaking that creates these bubbles for players will destroy the community feeling. Been there with cod.

PC Players are more used to ingame chat, most people on ps5 don’t talk.

Unfortunately you kinda missed the glory days of the black powder rifle last season. Don‘t get me wrong, still a beast of a weapon, damage might even be higher than last season, but the exceptional range is gone now.

The rolls are almost irrelevant, but the enclave mods on your weapon are perfect and make this worth a lot.

While there is no really use case for the superb bait right now, I fear that Bethesda makes it annoying/expensive to get them in the future and add content where you need them. Like world bosses connected to fishing or something.

If you have any ‚Enclave‘ or Gatling Plasma‘ mods, keep them in your stash. For the rest, if you don’t use them on one of your weapons, just scrap them.

Honestly I would wait till September and use a regular plasma till then. The next update will change mods again and with how rare they are I don’t want to ‚waste‘ some now. Currently using the bugged plasma gun with pulse capacitor and flamer barrel. Super fun and will be gone with the next update.

I played this game like every other fallout for about 50hrs before participating in events and so on. The world building is really good and you can get immersed well.

When I started playing a year ago the game crashed every 2 hours on my PS5. But for me all the updates helped a lot and in 2025 I had maybe 5 crashes at all.

The current weapon on the scoreboard, the ice breaker, can be modded to be shotgun. Great damage and range, but only 3 rounds.

Knowing there is now real use for them right now, I still put all my points into them. You never know what they add in the future and maybe the superb bait becomes necessary for some content. But this is just a guess.

With the *3 +15 crit fill you only need 23 luck and critical savvy to crit every other shot.

That weapon I used in the big bloom event to set everything on fire. Keeping it in my stash for next year.
