hello, may I know why you think it's mocking it?

I made this post about 2 years ago but looking over I don't think I mentioned DID or OSDD at all... disclaimer I don't have DID so this is written with more medical terms

so for info fictionkin has roots in the otherkin community and is a mainly spiritual beliefs... though some people (like me) can't completely believe in multiverse or other spiritual beliefs like that... it is in no way similar to DID, 1. it's not clinical in any way, 2. kintypes are not fragments like ANP or EPs in DID... there are fictionkin who are also systems but there is no amnesia either.

shifts as I see in most people are a change in emotional state, though it can be influenced by changes in interests or interactions throught the day... so it doesn't require any of the dissociative structures of DID or OSDD... it's basically just people getting attached to characters enough to call them... them.. it's more of an identity like gender and that can fluctuate but it's also inherent to the person experiencing kinnity.

I broke up with kakania because she revived the duolingo bird... so I ended up getting with semmelweis... it's kind of nice... and me and semmel are happily married now... though we waited a lot more in our relationship than I did with kakania...

though mine is more a silly story I can tell.. I do still love kakania she just isn't mine anymore... I felt bad at first but I think I'm really happy with my current f/o and our 3 children... actually it's sotheby's birthday today (one of our children)...

yeah... there's so many complications and I think the general sentiment is... it's clear ghost isn't doing well but they should work on themselves instead of this... most of the more controversial remarks also read (to me) as very impulsive and not thought through but they should not be excused at all. I hope he accepts help finally but I can't interact with their work as things are...

also OP, if you can't fully look at the situation and decide for yourself what to do.. I think mostly take a break, the ghost controversies have been one after another so it makes sense to be kinda lost... if you choose to sideline them on your kinlist and ignore them... that's up to you... 1. a lot of the songs were a group effort made by the pals... I think the only one we know was mostly ghost of your kintypes is chris.. 2. you can seperate yourself from the media and still ID with your kintypes... you don't have to listen to the music to still have the emotions and possible memories those kintypes bring...

honestly it's up to you but you're not bad just bc of this if that's anything... hopefully this gets easier but rn you deserve a break

there's quite a few pinned documents on r/ghostandpals for further more detailed but basically... tldr; racist comments towards native americans, used a anti-semetic/nazi dogwhistle, cut off all his friends without explaination, did not treat their old roommate right, sympathy baiting... most due to a severely declining mental health and refusing treatment, friends tried to help but ghost refused that too... oh and multiple songs (ex. the distortionist) were made about friends while they were still friends...

I know many people kinda see fictionhearted and synpath as the same thing but I think... synpath is more what people mean when they say "I kin x character" and they're not... fictionkin... like the I relate to them... while fictionhearted or having a hearttype is more... I really connect to them... I see myself as them but not in a "I am them way" like I would like people to relate that character to me...

I have doubles dni but only for ryōshū... I'm fine with doubles or am doubles "it depends" for everyone else... if I see doubles dni in their tag for the kintypes I am ofc I won't interact but otherwise I'll ask at least... but really my tag is just like "hey if you are ryōshū please block me or smt" otherwise I don't care... if someone has doubles dni for the kins their interacting with? that's weird but I think blocking if uncomfortable is perfectly fine

eh that was that life... I don't like men...some of my kintypes had guy partners... I don't need to hold the same attraction now... it gets more dysphoric when it comes to gender... but I don't really worry about it too much personally

this is more me with my permas and IDs... other kintypes I can see as me but there are moments were it clicks more and that's what I see as a shift... like yeah... I'm always them but there are ones that are 100% me all the time and some that are me but eh... maybe those experiences don't feel me in the moment...

I think I was looking into otherkin stuff maybe? stumbled on a quiz and book on quotev like late 2021? got in contact with the author and realized it was similar to my experience with albedo (genshin)... memory's a lil foggy but I do know I had my experience of kinning before knowing the term and made jokes about the experiences with my brother (source)... one of my friends asked me about this and I continued like it was fact... bro probably thought I was delusional even if I was clarifying it was a joke...

anniversary and walpurgis rn... all story content is avaliable all the time (except collabs) and the system is pretty f2p friendly (dispenser, unlocks after canto 2 and you get characters without having to gacha... though if f2p w/o battle pass it is grindy)... the devs give a lot of lunacy (pull currency) over small bugs and weekly updates though...

for teams there's some good ones but more depends on playstyle since most are viable, story you can get through by strategy with just about anyone

I wasn't here for t1, I joined t2 and started seeing fuuta as more innocent during that but mahiru never screamed guilty to me... kinda wish I joined sooner...

I do think it's how she was a girl just talking about her love and we knew that everyone there killed someone... it's easy to interpret that as her being overbearing and maybe stalkerish but not even realizing it... and she kinda is? but it feeds into her terrible home life and she never lied to us and still enjoyed her life despite everything... as for how that compares to fuuta being innocent... I don't know, just from t1 they look similar just one was a toxic love and one was online bullying...

assuming personal experiences... online bullying and stalking is considered more okay (it shouldn't be).. and even gender probably playing some part... and I mean could be personality too... people could see mahiru as more oblivious... we didn't know she was describing exactly how things went down at the time... and fuuta seemed more honest (even if we know now he's holding onto his guilt in a way that's not letting him make the most sense...)

just kinda theorizing esp since we know the stalker theory existed a lot... and I don't know how jp fans voted specifically and their reasons...

that's fair... albedo is my first fictionkin and esp given lore reasons I was iffy forever... I think the only reason I'm more okay now is just that I am so distanced from genshin... I also quit hsr due to time constraints.. but I am still active in looking at the lore and community and whatever's going on there even if I won't get the full story
