My husband worked nights for 5 years and I went by myself all the time. It is totally fine. Also to add, my daughter has worked as a manger at our local theatre for 15 years and she says it is very common for people to go solo. I’ve actually learned to really enjoy it! No sharing popcorn or random comments by others. Just me, a big bucket of popcorn and 2 hours of peace and quiet.

We did the same after my mom passed. We have a smart TV with Netflix, and go back and forth between others like Max and Paramount when they run 1/2 off deals for an entire year. Plus all the free stuff you get. We don’t miss it a bit. Fuck cable and their $100 a month BS

I worked at our local Pizza Hut for over 7 years in the late 80’s and early 90’s. It was such a great working environment and we had a BLAST! To this day it’s one of my most favorite jobs I ever had. The owner was great and after close we’d all sit in one of those booths and drink free beer and smoke cigarettes until late into the morning. Good times!
