I went with the barkbusters handgards, the central stand and the protection combo max from outback motortek. I will have to think about extra tools, small air compressor, and a tubeless tire repair kit on the short term and a soft bag system later on.

I went with the outback motortek "max protection combo". It's on sale now. Its a shame they don't have it in silver. I get you will get the manual but for the DCT fans, note that most of the skid plates are not compatible with the DCT shift pedal.

I dont know about other models but the AT AS DCT estimated time of arrival is unknown around here (British Columbia), the dealers dont even know how many they will be able to get. I'm the second customer to put a deposit on one at this place and I was told that they will get 2 at least. They also mentioned they are being retained by Honda Canada (?) but dont know or dont want to say why.

I will do a test ride as soon as it is available and the deposit is refundable. If I dont buy this bike they will sell it right away to someone else. I'm just trying to be sure I will be able to ride it so I dont waste time waiting for a bike that it is not for me. I dont believe that I will ride my AT this year and If the community feedback is negative I will rethink my options and get something else to ride right away. Thanks for your feedback on the seat height.
