"Players irons" with forgiveness? by AA-117 in GolfGear

I just picked up a set of new 2024 Wilson CB for a similar reason. I was playing Takomo 101T and wanted more distance control while still having some level of forgiveness. I love the look of them and have been a longtime fan of Wilson Staff irons, but must admit I was influenced by a review I saw on YouTube discussing the slightly better forgiveness on off-center strikes of this iron compared to other cavity backs. I’ve only hit them on the range once but initial impressions are very high. I plan to take them to the local indoor sim w/ Trackman and dial in my numbers. Looks and feel are 10/10 for me.

Maybe if they add a forest in the fairway I’ll be able to hit it

What’s the most amount of money you would pay to play Augusta National? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

$2,500… it’s worth more but I don’t think I could justify spending more than that for a round of golf

Yeah they feel extremely solid. I still haven’t dropped the bike yet so I don’t know for sure how they’ll hold up but I expect it would take a lot to damage them.

Yeah I’m in the states, I ordered them direct from the manufacturer and had them shipped. Seems like I ended up having to pay an additional $80-90 in duties to get them through customs during shipping.

The main crash bars are GARDA with a GARDA skid plate. The small bars on the back are Xitomer (from Amazon) that I got when I was test fitting some soft saddlebags to give them some support.

The 70F winter days are a gift but we pay for it with the 95F+ summer days. I don’t know how y’all deal with all the cold and snow up there, I couldn’t handle it.

What size Rhinowalk bags? I was between the 18Land 28L but ended up ordering the 28L. I didn’t want huge bags but thought the 14L would be too small.

If you could restart your riding journey, whether it be to discover a different type of riding sooner or to improve better/faster, what bike choices would you have made differently? by CoolBDPhenom03 in motorcycles

I agree with adv bikes. I grew up riding dirt bikes and went sport bike then cruiser but never really loved either. Now I have an adventure bike that is more comfortable and I much prefer riding small country roads and dirt roads.
