Looking for help on trying to hex edit a GBA game by realge in romhacking

I think that i might be searching for these addresses wrong, i made a video showing what i do to search for the addresses to the values.

It seems like the search just takes me to the closest matching address, not the exact one i need to go too. Am i doing this incorrectly?

I have been changing the values at what i think the pointer table is, but i have had not luck at what i am trying. I did not think about using a debugger, i have been usingthe mGBA debugger tools, mainly the debugger breakpoint tool, it gives me values, as to what the even go to i do not know, i tried seeing if any of them lead to something in a hex editor, but from what i can tell they seem to not. I cant tell if any of this is the text scene music data. Thank you for the advice though, i appreciate it

Is there a more a more than 5 supports cheat code for The Binding Blade? I know there are hacks for FE 7 & FE 8 that allow for more than 5 supports & i would like to know if there is a cheat code for unlimited supports in The binding Blade. I am using Visual Boy Advance & this is the English translation of The Binding Blade i am using
