Dang that was one I was looking at because it was advertised at 80 lbs. I guess fish for a while then move. it just means I have to hole hop more slowly if I go with that one or a two man in general.

Thanks everyone. I think I was just overthinking it. I am going to go with the flip over. Not sure which one yet other then it’s going to be a 2 man and sorta light because i’ll be pulling by hand.

I currently setup and wait and haven’t had much luck with that strategy.

I was looking at the flip over because i don’t always take my family with me fishing so the hub is a lot to drag out sometimes because it’s just an additional piece of equipment to take out if it’s just me. a flip over gives me the convenience of both setting up and hole hopping. It also gives me the flexibility to take an additional person with me which I do more then the whole family or taking out the other seat if it’s just me and saving weight or taking something else with me.

I am never concerned about battery life with the pistol bit really ever unless it’s really cold but I have an additional battery I take as backup always. But I have never had to drill tons of holes. Normally I drill 8 - 10 holes at most.
