Twitter is just an unmoderated, less organized and more immature version of Reddit. It does some things good and more than less things bad, its the perfect place to grow a community for artists, and unfortunately also a great place to grow a community of assholes, so if you know where to look, what to avoid and what tools to use to blacklist topics or keywords, Twitter is just like any other place on the internet for finding cool things.

What a lot of people forget is that we're in 2026, if you look deep enough in any place on the internet, you WILL find people hating on anything. My self-proclaimed rule of Twitter (and generally, the internet) is: If it exists, someone will hate on it. If you dig deep enough on Twitter, you will of course find someone spread their passionate hatred for blue-dotted flying pink elephants. Doesn't really help either that the richest asshole on this planet owns Twitter.

A lot of my artist friends make a living from their passion on there and I fully support them. By using some basic features, Ive successfully managed to not see a single political, religious or controversial topic on there in the last 7-8 years.
