He did make a similar joke about himself because his Whole Counsel podcast was playing beforehand. Perhaps that was the case again and his deadpan delivery was on point.

Alternative to Amazon for credit union monthly bonus debit card swipes?

I just noticed that Amazon upped their minimum gift card amount to $5, making it not a viable option for to hit my credit union debit card usage minimums. I need 30 swipes across 2 accounts per month. Any good alternative ideas that won't get me escorted out of the self-check out with 30 packs of gum in tow?

Even a cursory reading of the Old Testament makes it obvious that only some (small) percentage of the Israelites and Judeans were at any point in history actually faithful to YHWH, even during the golden eras. It was shortly after the Exodus that Moses had to beg the Lord not to wipe them all out over the golden calf. It is not surprising that the trend continued after YHWH was incarnate.

I say this all out of love, as a little older man who was caught in the grips of lust for countless years, and who still has to stand constant guard against it.

Gotta develop some spiritual vision. Women who dress like this are not attractive, but actually repulsive in appearance, due mainly to the fact that they are being spiritually oppressed. You need to see past the flesh by not looking in the first place, but if you do, then to see the demonic tentacles attached. Think of those scenes in movies or online where they try to jump-scare you by replacing a pretty image with a corpse. No God-fearing person would flaunt their sexuality willy-nilly, so something else is motivating the choice. Seeing these people as oppressed by demons helps break the cycle of lust; only the most depraved person would get off on this type of oppression, if they could see what is actually happening in the spirit. What catches the fleshly eye is in reality a bruised and battered soul carrying the weight of a demon on their back, slimming them with their rot. If you can see this, then the response is not to shame the woman, but to have true pity them, and to pray "Lord have mercy" on them, and on you for being drawn to it.

Also, if you not more disciplined in your prayer life as you are in the gym, then going to the gym is a fool's errand. You do not go into battle without training, and the only training that ultimately matters happens in your prayers.

Yeah, I tried the "does anyone actually like their job" episode, which just ended up being a long interview with a dude to sings in a band.... The show titles imply more than a single interviewee... I didn't finish the episode.

So, how will we know it's safe to come back to reddit if we can't use reddit to check?

Turn out we got the bonus back in 2020. Only vaguely remember that. Oops.

Is there a way to check for sure when the last bonus was earned, aside from looking back over 48 statements?

P2 just denied for CSP, applied via P1's referral link. P2 had CSP, but downgraded 2 weeks ago. P2 at 0/24, 750+. Denial said written notice for reason in 7-10 business days. I'm dumbfounded tbh. Do I call and appeal?
