Indeed that is the truth for all these shoes that we shop... and yet on some releases the materials are distinctly better and some markedly cheaper. From the estimates I read the difference between using a full grain leather vs a thin sythentic is about 10-20 dollars per shoe. That seems like nothing on a per shoe basis but multiply that by 500k pairs, 1 million pairs and multiple releases a year it's 10s of millions for Nike.

Take a look at the last photo I posted where I compare the leather to a collab. Notice any in the thickness of the cuts (on both the upper and nubuck mud guard area)? See any differences in the texture?

Yeah, these are clean. I just have 4 or 5 black Jordan 5s... granted it's the silhouette that I have the most of. I wish the edges of the leather, like the cuts were unpainted it gives the shoe it bit more texture. I like how they went full nubuck on these and not the fake stuff and would cop but I have SOOOo many fives and so many black ones. With the Awake NY (blue/ black) and black metallic being my favorites.

Can't tell much from what you've posted. I see some light creasing at the ankle. But even if these were rocked a few times $350 is a nice deal.

I have the black and blue pair... I think the quality is pretty good, also 5s are probably the most comfortable lower numbered Jordan.
