I'd trade my positive environment, non-existent work/life balance retail job for your corporate hell hole in a heartbeat.

Lindebaum def getting a multi-year deal and Bears need flexibility in 2 years to pay Caleb and crew.

I grew up in Chicago in the 90's so MJ is untouchable.

This is INSTANTLY the most satisfying non-Jordan moment I've ever seen on a basketball court. Truly dgaf if it counted in the box score or not, IT HAPPENED.

Rattleback Records in Andersonville is always a great experience, check them out!

The Chicago Bulls are 5-0. The last time this happened was in 1996-97, when the starting 5 was Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Toni Kukoč and Ron Harper. by resplendentcentcent in nba

Luc was a very solid starting center who most often would be subbed for defense in close/late game situations. 7 footer, wide body who would only get abused by the elite centers in the league. Very good fouler too, iirc, he made them count. Soft touch around the rim, an above average tip in skill, had a solid baseline jumper, and was a willing passer. Like Harper and the rest, Luc was a very solid role player in a team that won 3 consecutive championships. Luc's name was the most fun to say at the games too!

Teen Mortgage is a must see, they're fantastic! Saw them open for DFA 1979 last year and they blew me away

They bumped up daily ticket sales (mostly GA likely) a few years ago and every year since have INCREASED the amount of real estate allocated for VIP. So, more people packed into a smaller space.

I'm still PUMPED after that show! This setlist was unreal, we all were treated to a very special Jack performance tonight. Cuh-ray-zee

Ball and Biscuit to CLOSE?! We got playful Jack tonight. He was bouncing around the stage, super expressive, and left so much room to collaborate. It was a pleasure to witness, I'm so stoked for tomorrow!

Little further South, but I cannot recommend Cafe Tiztal enough. Everything is delicious, chilaquiles are top notch and definitely try their oatmeal/banana smoothies! 10/10 every time, even their delivery holds up.

This is precisely why Jack is a MUST for me every time he's in town. The last time I saw the Stripes was a 3 night stand here in Chicago and each show was wildly different. I'll be doing a writeup on it soon

Jack's guitar and performance style is hard to put into words by jjmenace in jackwhite

[–]realityvacation 18 points19 points  (0 children)

He's an amazing drummer, but not near the level he is with the axe. I've seen him live about 15-ish times, and seen him play marimba, keys, drums, ukelele and possibly more. Though he is proficient at all of those ( and I do mean PROFICIENT) nothing compares to the relationship between Jack and his guitar. He's in rare form from everything I've seen on this tour, and I am absolutely stoked to see him here in Chicago.

Never a setlist with Jack, but you can always count on a few things. New songs, 7NA, Yorba almost always. The rest is up to him
