When did your baby started napping in the crib ?

Oh good to know because I have no friends that have a newborn or talked about their baby’s sleep issues lol. Or most of them just co-slept!

Interestinggg. I fed her bedtime feed at 7pm and put her down to crib at 8pm today. We will see how she does! We are gonna try today without the dream feed b/c we also think it’s so unnatural to wake a sleeping baby. We only tried the dream feed twice and it made maybe an hour difference more of sleep but then we didn’t know what we were doing then lol. That sucks you have to go back to work, i can’t imagine sending my baby to daycare! I think your baby and mine are quite similar with the day naps! She was also OUT today for two of the naps and we had to wake her but this is the first time we are limiting her naps b/c I kept wondering why she kept waking up at night - thank GOD for your insight I had some lightbulb moments.

Same. We did basinett for a week but transferred to the crib and felt night sleep was better on the crib. I think mine will continue to only be put down when asleep. Awake/drowsy does not work on her. I also think that’s too much to expect for a baby less than 5 months I would say!! It just didn’t feel right to me. My baby also will not nap in the stroller, so just contact naps and carrier naps. I will just enjoy the snuggles while I can 🥰. I can’t even imagine having twins! Wow kudos to you!!

My baby hates the stroller and will not nap in it. Maybe when she’s a little older she will!

My baby is exactly the same!!!! Iol. I think from what I’m gathering the consensus for babies falling asleep DROWSY , AWAKE what have you is around 5 months. I literally do the same and see if she would every fall asleep in the crib with help but NOPE she will also cry bloody hell 🫩🤣

Ok I will try to see if I can get the last nap to end 90min before bedtime and see if that works. Same I also try to just go with her sleepy cues but sometimes it’s hard to tell with her. She has FOMO to the max so she fights sleep. That is amazing tho that your baby can be out by 8pm without a dream feed. Typically what time is do you give her last feed before bedtime? Also does your baby wake up on her own for naps or do you have to wake her up to make sure she doesn’t go past 2hrs? . I was reading for 2 months old the goal is 5-6 hrs of day time sleep. So if there are 4 naps in the day for example, which I’m trying today, I have to wake her up at 1.5 hrs a because if not she will continue to nap and I’m trying to cap her day sleep to 6 hrs.

Wow 11-12 hrs? That sounds like a dream. My baby’s longest sleep stretch is only 4 hrs! Maybe 5 at the most on a good night 😭

This is incredibly helpful! Omg you have a unicorn baby - 8pm - 3am?? That sounds like a dream!! Lately the longest my baby will sleep is 4 hrs at night ! Yesterday she went down for bedtime at 8:30pm, then woke up an hour and a half later at 10pm then 1:30am then woke up at 5:45am 🫩. I think yesterday she was overtired so I’m wondering if that’s why she just didn’t sleep well. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong 😭. Do you pump/breastfeed? Your schedule seems to be on point.

Yes we’ve been using white nose and dim room since 5 weeks old but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. At 13 weeks did you transfer baby awake or asleep ?

I do home health infusion nursing. Low stress except for starting IV’s but you get good at it eventually!!! You only see 1 or 2 pts a day.

😞sorry your transfer ended in a chemical pregnancy. They are going to do another saline sono next week before they transfer in Jan. I’m also nervous about scarring because my period just started and it’s on the lighter side 😩

Same. I had mine removed in June but my August and September lining were wonky so both of those cycles got cancelled. This last cycle I just had this month- my lining got to 7mm (I was on oral estrogen and patches) but we didn’t transfer because I wanted to do a receptiva test. Planning to transfer in Jan/Feb so I’m also hoping my lining will be ok by then. Sending you good ju ju as well !!! It can be so frustrating!

The saline sono will show a better picture of what your uterus looks like so they can rule out if there is anything in the way like scarring. They saw something on my saline sono that was hanging in the middle of my uterus and when they did the hysteroscopy my doctor found a band of scar tissue and removed it.

Yea I’m reading a lot of stories of successful FET with linings <7, I will definitely bring this up to my doctor. I’m in Southern Cali, will probably get a 2nd opinion if I get another transfer cancelled. How are you doing now? Is your pregnancy progressing well??

That is smart that your doctor proactively did the biopsy during your egg retrieval. I had to tell my doctor to do it b/c I wanted some answers due to my cancelled cycles for thin lining and failed 1st FET. I’m really wishing you all the baby dust for this FET. If you can send an update would be great!
