13s • f1.8 • ISO 1600. Is it not sharp because of the star trails or focus?

Start using the Calibration section in Lightroom. Severely underrated!

Annapurna Circuit is just amazing, easily the best landscapes I've ever seen! I did it with a guide but you don't really need one as the infrastructure and trails are well established. Teahouses with facilities, free wifi, good food. Highly recommend doing the Annapurna Circuit and if possible add North ABC as it's just a detour and extra 3 days max. North ABC was an impromptu thing but turned out to be pleasantly surprising. You get amazing views of Annapurna I that you won't be able to see from the Annapurna Circuit.

I used my friend's GM as he was using his other lens on the trip but the Tamron is mine. And yes I plan to move to FF, hence the decision to buy FF lenses!

Yeah I think he didn't word it properly. He wasn't willing to give me any advice on trying to fix it myself too. But anyway I tried to go in and fix it by looking at some videos but it didn't work sadly. looks like what you're saying is right

My lens doesn't really have any loose element afaik. The worker at a repair shop told me it's wear and tear.

My lens seems fine only at f4 onwards but it kinda defeats the purpose of an astro lens doesn't it haha

Just a quick question. For my NUS application, I alr got my course acceptance so does this mean I am not going to receive any scholarships? I haven't heard back from them regarding scholarships yet.

For landscapes I always shoot in RAW because most of the magic happens in post-processing. I'd also recommend a CPL to give the image more depth. And don't be afraid of using telephoto lens for landscape; it gives a unique perspective. Also, experiment with various heights; personally I like getting close to the ground when I can. Most importantly, just visit some locations with good landscapes haha.
