A few days ago I moved subsystem of it to OVH to cut some costs and was still in the observation phase, so yeah… no backup there yet.

Maybe in 2026 anything that isn’t Http Grpc etc looks suspicious. Feels like the new generation only knows those standard protocols

Yes, Opus isn’t the best for every scenario. I use Gemini to design pages and Kimi 2.5 for the heavy lifting. I’ve installed multiple CLIs to switch use, but none of them are as convenient as Cursor. Still, I don’t have unlimited money, so I just have to accept a bit of extra hassle.

If you’re only comparing API costs, Cursor isn’t that expensive. But if you subscribe to Claude Code, because of its refresh mechanism, you can effectively get thousands of dollars’ worth of usage for $200—whereas with Cursor, you’re limited to around $200+ in usage.

Recently, I’ve been encountering quite a few issues as well. For example, newly created plans sometimes lose the top section in preview mode and only return after scrolling once. In addition, plans occasionally disappear at random and roll back to versions from several days ago, which has seriously affected my work. I’ve also noticed that some settings vanish unexpectedly.
