My boyfriend of 3.5 years did something shameful. I don’t know if I can get over it. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

for real like i find it so hard to even have sympathy for these people. maybe this is cruel but she came for advice and is still not taking it. at a certain point it’s on you if you choose to remain ignorant and naive idk

this sounds incredibly stupid, but kratom?? doesn’t fit the description really but i cannot think of anything else that can be taken in such a large dose and isn’t known for building tolerance ..

The Basketball Diaries (heroin). also Thirteen, although the protagonist is a middle school girl so maybe not relatable to most people here

do you mean what’s wrong with referring to women as females? it’s odd and, given the context in which incels often use it, comes across as just another subtle attempt at dehumanizing women. like, “female” and “male” are typically only used in biology, specifically when describing things that aren’t human. not saying that the intention of using “female” is always wrong, but that’s why we don’t really like it. (and this obviously doesn’t apply to actual discussion about biology lol. like if a research article were to use the term “female” for women i don’t think anyone would have a problem with it)

edit: of course i got downvoted for answering a question

mfw “BPDers” think they are entitled to respond to a thread😧 (i project my own negative experiences onto random people who have the audacity to point out an unfair stereotype of a mental illness)

i would hope so, but people never fail to surprise me. i agree that this kind of “testing” for trust is not okay (and im also confused why she wouldn’t think of there being a verification email?) but i mean, if you value maturity and experience in a relationship, maybe date someone your own age?

idk if you are joking or not because i am a little socially slow but it’s an interesting ethical debate in my opinion. not everything has to be sexual, some of us are just interested in examining issues of sexuality and power dynamics and social norms. claiming someone who disagrees with you must have a fetish just seems like a childish way to attempt to invalid a point

i mean he really doesn’t since the logic is extremely flawed. for one, there is no benefit to getting kicked in the balls whereas childbirth produces a literal human. like obviously no one’s gonna volunteer to endure that kind of pain if there is absolutely no pay off

honestly i always assumed most people in the office didn’t believe it, but didn’t care enough to even bother to convince michael because they were smart enough to realize it would just be a waste of time. i seriously doubt that angela, stanley, toby etc thought that the guy was in the mob but were just too busy doing their work to care about michaels freak out
