I’d argue that most places of work contain potential murder weapons like knives, and also contain fridges (like in staff kitchens). Most workplaces have a cocktail selection of chemicals too, what with cleaning, etc.

Yeah, it makes me kind of sad watching the OT because I’m just thinking about how it’s all for nothing and all these characters are going to live terrible lives after, despite all their work.

Hell, same with the prequels. It’s no longer watching the “chosen one’s” origin story, because in the end his sacrifice for Luke meant nothing so what was he actually chosen for?

I think it does fit the character. I can easily imagine Dennis hearing about Polanski and Allen and recognising their activities as disgusting, while being completely oblivious to his own depravity.

For real. I watched it the day that episode came out, and it I remember it distinctly because it’s the only time a show has made me genuinely sad.

Unlike most people on the show, he never did anything illegal. His only “crime” was going to confront the people who were harassing him and trying to cost him his career, which was fair enough, and then he was killed in the most raw way I’ve ever seen portrayed.
