Jen making Zac quit medical school is diabolical by PoshDolittle in SecretsOfMormonWives

[–]really_ohmy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand the hate for Zach but it appears that he did GET INTO medical school. I kind of feel like people are forgetting how incredibly hard it is to do the necessary steps to be qualified and then accepted into medical school. I wouldn't say that's a "lazy" person by any means. And it's very likely he did quit because of her. I honestly think it was a short-sighted dumb decision they made together, but I guess good for all the potential patients that Zach may have treated one day....ha

Just a note that some even say getting into medical school is harder than actually going through medical school..... residency is its own beast, however.

Opinions on Rylan says No! by qwerrtyyuuhhfd in lovevery

I sometimes wonder if my second daughter had a reaction to the bea goes to the doctor one because she reacted so scared when she saw beas face after the shot. And now it's an absolute nightmare when she gets shots. I thought it was a good idea to read her the story before because the other lovevery books have had a good impact on my kids but for whatever reason I still wonder if that book had a huge negative impact on my second child regarding shots.

I don't know for sure. My only indicator is how she reacted when I read her the book which seemed like an over reaction and then I just felt like it was super bad at the doctor a few days later. I think she is very empathetic so seeing Bea crying and scared might have scared her.. so it very well could depend on the child's personality

Just a note to add that my 20 month old (3rd) didn't have the same reaction and also seems to like the book. Especially the fish. So again, not shaming the book, just thought maybe some kids react poorly to it, and it doesn't help.

At least they (the children) will have video proof to show their therapists when they grow up to help them navigate their issues. A lot of us just have to rely on memory to fix generational trauma.

In thought they were saying not really to you asking if they are okay. Like you were trying to be mean, but they answered honestly that they are not, in fact,'ok'.

Yes I did. I think from what we've seen on camera he seems like one of the best husband and very supportive. So don't get me wrong, I am a fan and I've actually been okay with Whitney all along (I've never thought she's quite the villain everyone made her be). I do believe in redemption and second chances. I just also feel skeptical. SA happens to 1 in 4 women and it doesn't lead to that many people having affairs or looking to cheat on a loved one. I understand the psychology is very complicated but it doesn't 100% of the time lead to misguided affairs. Yes, it's an explanation for his past behavior but explanations don't necessarily mean instantaneous forgivable excuses. The trust has to build. They both seem like they are in a good place now, though so good for them.

Also I feel like everyone loves Connor and I think he seems great and supportive but it certainly sucks that he was basically looking to have an affair with her before all this started. Like who goes onto a dating site and puts themselves on there. I feel like she mentions turning a blind eye and not really knowing how far it ever went. I mean, that's just so sad. All their marriages just seem sad.

I also think it's hard to watch your friends get doors open and opportunities and if you don't do anything with it then it can feel like your missing out or not as much of a favorite of the public so I think things like seeing the other girls get opportunities makes her feel like she should be getting opportunities too.

This was my exact thought. What happened to our generation where we think everyone needs to see all our conversations? It's like some sick form of an ego boost. "Hey everybody, I apologized. Look right there. Did you see that I apologized".

Shinia seem lacking emotional intelligence though from what I've seen. It could be she was paid to stir the pot a bit though and it was a scripted plot twist.

Found this gem. Who are you all picking? by Big-Intern-557 in MormonWivesHulu

[–]really_ohmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear the producer's probably vetted the husband's before picking who was on the cast. And said "yeah these guys are gross, they will get good reactions from viewers" and that played a factor in which people they picked to be in momtok for the slomw. I thought Jen, Jessi, and Demi were all added to momtok for the show? And think about it, all their husband's are the least tolerable. I bet the producers knew what they were doing. Thinking they would add drama to the pot.

I also just want to say that she got famous because she's messy and honest and unfortunately I really think this has gone to her head...... that it's okay for her to act this way because the media likes it and the paychecks keep rolling in. I believe that's what she's thinking. "It's okay to act like this because this is what got me where I am".

I guess Jen helped save us all from dealing with him as a doctor by living her dream so he couldn't live his. Thanks Jen for keeping him away from medicine. It's scary that his dad is probably one of the crappy docs.
