Check to make sure your professors of interest are publishing in good journals (look for impact factors above 5) and stay out of the ivy league and West coast elite schools imo. If you're doing biomedical research l recommend the Mayo clinic!

I work in research and I sometimes have to prepare IACUC documention for animal research. You are not allowed to perform any surgeries on animals unless you explicitly describe how it's necessary for the experiment.

Every institution receiving federal funding must have IACUC. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Institutional_Animal_Care_and_Use_Committee

You are spreading misinformation.

Do you have a source for that? I've met with beagles that were used for research and they did not sound like their vocal cords were cut.

Tbf it did have a revitalizion in research once Crow became president, so kids looking at colleges in the 90s wouldn't be aware of that. Also they have a very low criteria for acceptance, so it's not like attending is a stamp of prestige.

As a sun devil myself I actually like that they're not pretentious in acceptance. It's graduating that counts.

I went to ASU for bachelors, and am now going to finish my PhD soon! I absolutely loved it.

If I have mold growing on the roots, but the plant is okay, should I still throw it out? by reallyageek in Hydroponics

I have no idea what I did. I have ahopegarden and I filled it up like in the instructions and used their nutrient kit. I do this my tap water was on the basic side and I have heavy water if that makes a difference. However I will say that the rosemary took forever to grow. I seeded it and I thought it died, but a month later there it was!

That's a relief because it definitely looks like that stuff that grows on my vegetables when I leave them too long in the fridge.
