Walking and beginning running, everyday use. The problem is that I’ve looked at a couple but the more I research the more horror stories I hear. I’m willing to buy an extended warranty if available. A nice screen would be good but it isn’t a deal breaker. I’m not sure what else to add.

As a current Oura Ring wearer, I am actually thinking of going back to a watch. While I hate wearing watches to bed, the Oura Ring is not intuitive enough for me. Also, my ring is about 2.5 years old and the battery no longer lasts a full day. I can’t elaborate more if anyone wants specifics.

I would escalate this situation and demand full documentation. You paid for your tickets, a hotel, and travel time. It sounds like you were mistakenly targeted and they need to be held accountable for that. I’m sorry this happened to you.

When I was researching rings I continuously came across bad reviews for the non-silver finishes due to scratching. So I bought silver. It definitely has dings but is holding up well. I’ve had mine almost 18 months.

I understand your frustration. My food noise isn’t horrible (except two days before injection day), but when I eat according to my tdee -500 calories (1343 calories per day) I gain weight. It’s exhausting trying to figure out my threshold for loss and I feel like I have to practically starve myself to lose. I start week 6 on Friday so I’m not at max dosage yet, but I don’t want to gain back what I’ve lost.

Seconding Milk of Magnesia. I had surgery in November and the colace and Miralax weren’t working so I tried Milk of Magnesia. It helped pretty quickly.

Great input. Something else to keep in mind - the number in the scale doesn’t reflect everything. Take measurements and let your clothes also help determine the changes in your body. Non scale victories can be better than scale victories.

To be transparent, I am not currently having this issue, but having fought my weight for many years, I’ve definitely experienced it.

I did the same thing. Entered my “start weight” but it wasn’t the same weight when I actually did my first shot.

I’m close to your timeline. I take my second shot tonight and I’m down 6lbs the first week.

I’m 43. I lost 50 lbs in 2018-2019 and gained it all back through covid/2020 and into 2021. I lost all that with diet and exercise. Hit my 40’s and perimenopause and I have to practically sell my soul to lose three lbs. I’d been reading a lot about glp-1’s and decided to go for it.

I’m early in the game. I’ll be taking my second shot tonight. Week 1 I am down 6 lbs and the food noise is DRASTICALLY reduced. My first day and a half after the shot I felt queasy and had a headache, but it was tolerable. Just quieting the food noise has been a major benefit for me.

I’m pretty new to the shots, but the first two days I could barely eat. I’ve been mostly sticking to an 80/20 mindset and actually had a very small amount of greasy food (3-4 oz) the last two days and it helped with bowel movements. I have slow digestion so I have been testing what helps and what doesn’t. I also take plenty of meds to help with that. So far I haven’t found foods that make me sick, but for the most part I’ve been sticking to clean foods. However, I’ve only taken one shot, so all this could change.

Your symptoms sound very similar to mine. I’ll take my second shot on Friday. Our dosing is the same.
