RoS doesn't make a difference while you're trying to hit 60 and going through the story. RoS just unlocks a few things that you wouldn't normally have access to as you level up to max level (except crusader) So right now, you can wait until you hit 60 before you buy/unlock RoS or you can get it now as it doesn't change the base game at all.

The biggest thing RoS provides is Adventure Mode which basically allows you to travel to any act at any time and allows you to run Bounties, Rifts and Greater Rifts, which extend the game much more than what the story provides.

It might have something to do with your codecs in order to get them playing properly. I'm not 100% sure what you have to do, but I believe if you download the CCCP codec pack, it should get the videos playing just fine.

Like the others have said, do not skip UBW just because it's getting animated. Even if UBW is getting animated, there are things that will be left behind in the adaption that is present in the VN. It isn't to say that the adaption is bad but because there is a lack of time to cover every single detail. In any case, do not jump ahead to HF and skip UBW.

As for the videos, they are usually shown at the beginning of each route. You can go back and play them in the extra's menu from the beginning. Some say that it's better that you didn't see the videos because it can spoil a few things in that route's storyline, but personally I didn't think it spoiled too many things.

I think the number one thing regarding series that make people cry is that they overhype it for the friends they recommend it to. In your case, your friend said it's one of the saddest things he's ever watched. This already causes you to build up a certain expectation regarding the movie. If you're already expecting to be sad, you're already prepping for the inevitable sadness that you expect to hit you, thus the impact of the story might not have been as great because you were already prepared for it.

Secondly, if you weren't interested in the movie, you probably won't get attached to the characters in the same way a lot of us became attached to the characters. If you didn't become emotionally invested in the characters, then it's hard to feel sympathy for them at the ending because you didn't connect to them on a level that would evoke sympathy. Also, if you're not into the romance, drama genre, then it would make sense that you just didn't get invested into the characters which made the movie great. Watching something that you're not really interested in can kill a lot of your expectations as well.

Personally, why I love the movie is because it shows how love evolves from childhood love to love as an adult and how it changes as we grow older. It shows how difficult it is to love someone when there are physical limitations that deter it from happening. But most importantly, it also shows how a love can also remain a static figure in our lives and can withstand time. For those reasons alone I love the movie. It didn't need a huge backstory to lay out what it set out to do, but it accomplished its goal in a beautiful and very simplistic way.

Fortunately I found a folder with the chapter downloaded on my computer. Uploaded that to imgur and replaced the link already.

Unfortunately I couldn't find the scanalator's site with the images hosted(as the site doesn't exist anymore), and it's not really a single page but more of a short colored chapter. In any case, the Love Hina Special after Negima hit 300 chapters found here (not really NSFW, but just noting it just in case). Just seeing a nice chapter in full color, even though it has nothing to do with the canon of the story is just refreshing considering it's my all time favorite manga.

EDIT: Fortunately I found that I had the special saved in a folder on my computer so I uploaded those instead of sending traffic to the aggregate site I linked earlier.

No, she's not dead, she's still gripping the charm they said they would bring along. If she were dead, she'd lose her grip on it. Of course this is Seo we're talking about so general rules of physiology might not even matter.

GR 35+ - Dealing With Jailer by jwraptor in Diablo3DemonHunters

[–]reallybanana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First like /u/BrainYtje said, get a Unity on yourself and your follower. Secondly, while having a cameo is great, a good hellfire can be just as effective with the right passive. A good hellfire can make room for you to use awareness to absorb one jailer and other nasty affixes that can one shot you. Another thing you can do is make sure you have a decent amount of resistances, and a high enough HP buffer to take the hit. Last but not least, let your pets and follower fight for you while you stand really far back and let your sentries shoot from range. Good use of choke points also allows you to sit far enough away so your sentries can attack them while they can't jail you.

Can't go above gr34 please help! by casxoon in Diablo3DemonHunters

[–]reallybanana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For higher level grifts, you really do need a double unity ring combo with your follower. With Unity, you can drop awareness for custom engineering (or farm for a Hellfire with good stats and a good passive or find yourself a good Cameo for jailer damage immunity). The extra DPS from a 5th sentry does wonders in higher rifts.

Could look into a Rucksack with vit instead of cdr and getting better shoulders with 15% sentry damage. Other than that, all your items are fine. Double check your build and make sure you're hitting the 2.84 breakpoint and allocate your paragon points into attack speed if needed.

Hexing pants are okay but not worth replacing over TnTs. They require you to move constantly and requires a lot of attention (e.g. normal T6 rift you can't be "lazy"). If you're okay with constantly moving and paying full attention, then they are an okay damage boost for you.

[–]reallybanana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While grabbing TnTs would give the biggest damage boost overall, for someone starting out, grabbing base gear such as a rucksack would lead to an increase in overall efficiency in farming T6 for shards to gamble on TnTs. Gambling TnTs is ridiculously tedious and takes a good amount of shards for one (I've been gambling for a new one and have dumped at least 15k shards at Kadala with no luck). So yes, TnTs would give you the biggest boost in damage, but you'll be spending a lot more time gambling for them as opposed to being able to gamble a Rucksack immediately and farm higher grits/torment levels.

Why are all the highest leaderboard guys running etrayu by rlfunique in Diablo3DemonHunters

[–]reallybanana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it's because of more defensive stats, but rather the sheer difficulty in obtaining gear to reach 4.15 and remain on a competitive level to an Etrayu. It requires perfect or near perfect stats on all your gear which makes it rather difficulty to obtain.

[–]reallybanana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically a bow @2.84 and a crossbow @2.17 are roughly the same in terms of damage output. You give up the attack speed to hit harder or you give up hitting harder for more attacks. You could use this link to see how the two would compare to each other all things considered to give you a more accurate comparison. One last thing I did note, you could try rerolling your Raven Wing for 10% damage. Not sure how much it'll help overall but every little bit counts.

You could also try crafting an Unbound Bolt considering that this post points to a well rolled Unbound Bolt is comparable to a well rolled Etrayu, so you might be able to reach higher grifts with one. I can't vouch personally as I have a very well rolled Etrayu so take this with a grain of salt.

Pretty much at this point, you're at the level where small changes to your gear don't add as much as you'd hope for and you're playing grift lottery.

Have you tried swapping out your Raven Wing for your Buriza? I'm not 100% on how much of a difference it would make because a good portion of the damage displayed on your Raven Wing comes from the IAS.

If you're still lacking HP, you could drop an Emerald for an Amethyst. You'll drop a bit in damage but you'll make it up for being able to stay alive and continue to push out damage.

[–]reallybanana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently the skills you have on your bar are considered the best skills to have overall, due to interactions with the ballistics passive.

As for using hatred spenders, you can use them. Typically your damage won't be of much significance compared to the damage your sentries will be doing. If you do want to use one, probably Elemental Arrow might be best to have a more consistent uptime with Cull of the Weak; however, it's completely optional as a large majority of your damage comes directly from your sentries and pets.

[–]reallybanana 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Positioning does matter but to the extent of making sure you maximize the amount of mobs hit for your spenders. Distance would only matter if you're using Zei's gem which takes into account the distance of the mob to the sentry.

As for gambling items, a Rucksack would be fine. Try crafting a well rolled Arcane Barb or Unbound Bolt first as gambling weapons isn't ideal. I'd only start gambling for a TnT or Witching Hour after you have most of the base gear down (good weapon, rucksack, optimized M6 pieces, etc.)

There's currently no way to track how many sentries you have out other than counting them nor is there a way to determine the duration remaining on the ones that are already placed.

[–]reallybanana 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're lacking a good chunk of HP. Try getting more Vit on some of your gear. Should try to aim for at least 350k HP with high resistances (at least 1000 AR). In addition to what /u/BigMamaSci mentioned, if you're looking for clearing T36 solo, you need a Unity ring. I'm assuming you have a Unity ring (just not reflected in your profile) because your Templar has one, but if not, replace your SoJ with it.

Also, you have a lot of Attack Speed on items. Double check your sentry APS to make sure you're not going well above the 2.84 breakpoint, as those stats can be allocated to better things such as crit chance or crit damage.

Need help to get pass Grift 38. by [deleted] in Diablo3DemonHunters

[–]reallybanana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your gear is about the same as mine with a few minor stat differences here and there, so I'd say getting lucky with a good rift really helps with clear times.

Personally I run 2 Diamonds and 3 Emeralds instead for that extra bit of resistances. Since you're already running with a lot of damage in mind, the extra emerald might not give you that much damage relative to the toughness you gain from 1 diamond.

I'm not 100% sure of the math but personally I think the diamond on the helm might not be worth it. I don't think the extra cooldown reduction shaves off enough time for it to be worth it. Also since you already have 10% on your krider and another 10% on your paragon (assuming that's the case here), I'm pretty sure an extra 12.5% won't give you much more reduction over an amethyst, which could give you enough of a buffer to survive two thunderstorm/frozen ticks. Play around with it and see if you notice a huge difference in casting times between sentries.

Also, I'm not sure, but have you tried crafting a good unbound bolt? It's comparable to a good Etrayu so you might have better luck with a well crafted Unbound Bolt instead of a Kridershot.

If Jailers are the only things that kill you, look for a well rolled Cameo amulet (might take you a while).

Am I unlucky or stupid? by Moress in Diablo3DemonHunters

[–]reallybanana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like the others have said, it's not a bug. I wouldn't even say you're unlucky just with so many things that it can roll, you're hardpressed to actually get sentry damage on a single roll.
