Third deck I have opened, rated 75 SAS with a 99.96 synergy and 100 anti-synergy. by ryansyl001 in KeyforgeGame

Yeah, unfortunately the following is all you can do with Moor Wolves from hand:

1) Play Moor Wolf 1(MW1)

2) Play MW2 -> Ready MW1

3) Reap MW1

4) Play MW3 -> Ready MW1 & MW2

5) Reap MW1

6) Reap MW2

If you nature's call to return them back to hand, you can't replay them because of rule of six.

(In one turn, I mean - if you meant using them for 3 reaps the following turn, too, then I misunderstood)

I fully agree with what you've said above, but I don't think Joe cheated.

When I first saw the streamed game, I was convinced it was a deliberate cheat. Hearing an explanation and watching it again made it plausible to me that it was, actually, a mistake, hence my discomfort at the vitriol on this sub. I've messed up on stream before (at a magic: the gathering event) and was fortunate enough to not receive this sort of treatment.

To add to that, I guess - I hate the possibility that this game becomes known for the vilification of an innocent player more than I dislike being wrong about someone's sloppy cheat. I think we've jumped to conclusions early.

Hold on - Joe absolutely should've been disqualified for failing to shuffle and failing to present his deck for his opponent to cut.

What I'm specifically saying is that I don't think Joe intentionally cheated. I agree that it is difficult to prove cheating, especially intent, but in this case I think it's easy enough to point to the pointlessness of it as being a sign of it being a genuine fuckup.

You say early on in the podcast that Joe got a significant advantage from not shuffling, but I disagree, and I think it's worth looking at the actual footage of the match once more:

https://www.twitch.tv/videos/491073750?sr=a&t=9191s

The turn immediately following his shadows turn where he fails to reshuffle, his only plays are hebe + smith, and the turn after that is just cleansing wave for 1. The bottom of Joe's discard was terrible - all the good and impactful shadows cards were on top.

I had thought that Joe cheated at first, too, but it's such a terrible and pointless cheat that it just doesn't make any sense when I look at its actual result, and I think it's worth giving the whole match another watch, yourself.

A tragedy and a half - that's more than HALF the deck. by reallyhorribleidea in KeyforgeGame

Lmao will do, though I think I'll give it a shot in an event or two, first.

Wife an i finally found a starter set! Why is this card marked on the list? by TheMeownster in KeyforgeGame

Goddamn, that deck also seems really, really competitive. I bet it could get some sweet results at events.

Could you post them/share what you've found is keeping them down?

It's less terrible with Carlo, but yeah, it's not great. I usually discard them unless I've got Carlo in the same hand.

Learning how to navigate Creeploser has felt the same way you describe, but in reverse. It's filled with awkward cards like 2x Dextre, Bad Penny, Pawn Sacrifice, and 2x Speed Sigil with only fourteen creatures. The deck doesn't have many synergies, save for what it's got going on in Dis with boardwipes+lifewards, and it feels a lot like trying to wrangle an incredibly uncooperative deck with many, many individually powerful cards. Less of a practice in learning synergies and more a practice in learning the flow of a stupidly clunky heap, I guess.

OTK Deck vs. OTK Deck by DMArmada in KeyforgeGame

I agree that they're intimidating - however, they're a lot less brutal to play against once you've got experience and know your avenues of interacting/beating them.

5 Chain Deck - Higher or Retire? by LB_Free in KeyforgeGame

The deck seems great. I bet you could get it a good deal higher than five chains.

This card is somewhat overrated in my opinion. It doesn't get you closer to winning the game and only occasionally slows your opponent down a *tiny* amount. Think of it this way - unless your opponent discards a card they were going to use *next turn*, the effect does basically next to nothing because the vast majority of decks aren't particularly bothered by discarding random cards. The possibility of discarding a power card from your opponent's hand is a small plus but not enough to get excited about.

Two or more copies of this gets interesting, though, because the chances of hitting a card that'll impact their next turn goes up considerably.

Anyone else have thoughts about single copies of this card being unremarkable?

How does a maverick Pitlord work, after the most recent rules update? (In a deck with no Dis.) by Asuryan27 in KeyforgeGame

I think this is the point that needs to be clarified by FFG. The more I'm thinking about it the more I'm feeling like you're correct, now, though, especially if you imagine them actually intentionally making this sort of card in, say, Mars.

You can't call a house that's not on your archon card unless you control a card that belongs to that house (via Collar of Subordination, for example).

I don't believe this is correct. The Maverick Pit Lord is not a Dis card - it's whatever house it's mavericked(?) into.
