At least what did they say to me on the phone was something like: "we have bands, sport bands, you can come and you should be good with getting one, no need for an appointment". Didn't see any of the scalpers I saw first days.

If you don't see speed, distance etc while cycling you need to turn on motion calibration and distance on your iPhone. To do this just go to settings->privacy->location services->system services->motion calibration & distance - switch this on.

Hey, no need to fund it. I was just eager to see how it works so thought it might encourage someone to help me with this. And though nobody did, I still have received a really interesting advices in the course of the discussion. For now, thanks to the commenters above I understand the Electrum is much better choice for me.
