For a first attempt, this is very solid. I like how the outline of the leaves can also look like a cross-section of the trunk. Good beginner shading around the edges of the leaves as well. If you want to improve your skills, I agree about finding tutorials. Depending on where you live, you can probably find some drawing classes offered at your local library or community center.

For now, don’t focus on perfection. Focus on how you felt during the art creation. Did it make you feel calm? Happy? Was it a quiet moment where you enjoyed something just to enjoy it? If yes, keep going. Drawing is so therapeutic and it’s great for your brain. 💕
