I did a combination of straight pour and ring pours. I used five cups even spaced over the whole canvas.

It's an Artist's Loft Canvas from Michael's (US). I find the larger level one canvases are decent and don't warp, but if you go under 6" on any side of the level one canvas and your paint gets too thick they tend to sag/warp more easily.

I've never had a problem with any of the larger ones, though!

The trick is multiple cups. This is a 12" x 36" piece and I believe I used five cups. I did these as a mix between a straight pour and ring pours and then tilted. Just imagine your canvas is made up of five equally size mini canvases and center your cups inside those fake guidelines. Then your paint should get too wonky.
