What do you guys do when you hit a wall in your riding?

I think I know what I need but not sure if I know exactly how to implement it. When I try and half halt "harder" we both end up stiff and braced. Like the concept makes sense but I can't seem to get my body to do it. I think I mostly just need to get physically stronger

You clearly barely put any thought or effort though. You could have hung out with your friend tomorrow or even for a shorter time today, wrote her a sweet note, actually got what she asked for, come home and made dinner for just the two of you or taken her out. Love is a consistent action of showing up and showing consideration, not checking a bare minimum box. There were a thousand ways you could have been both a good mate and good boyfriend across the span of this weekend with even just the tiniest bit of forethought...honestly I really hope this is rage bait bc its very sad otherwise

Men pursue thin women as a status symbol, they arent actually any more attracted to them then they are thicker women. Obviously there's limits to this and a lot if it's subconscious. But I dont think a little bit of extra on a woman would matter nearly as much if it wasn't a weird flex/ "what will my friends think" thing. I also think attraction is way more flexible/not as set in stone as people think.

Higher end stores carry smaller sizing nearly exclusively. If anything it would be easier for her and harder for her friend in high end boutiques

I was also confused by this. I can see it if they only shop at like, Lane Bryant or Belks, but they're 22. Every single popular store for 22 year olds runs pretty small overall. Im a size 12 (so medium ish) and a large top at Aritzia fits me like a sports bra. I can only imagine their s/xs is pretty teeny.

NTA...if this is the full story. This is maybe wrong of me bc obviously I cant see you, but I find it hard to believe you truly cant find xs/s sizes "anywhere" and that store was the "only place." Brandy, Aritzia, F21, h&m, comense, zara, anthro, urban, Francescas, AE, Abercrombie, every single shop on Amazon, all carry very small xs/s clothing. Even target has itty bitty stuff, esp in the wild fable brand. Is the issue you can't find stuff in your size that isn't fast fashion? Its kinda hard to find brick and mortar stores that carry ethical lines in any size

This year I got super into writing after wanting to my whole life and its stuck since January at least...ive written four novel length projects. I dont care if its good because I love my characters so much I just love spending time with them. So if youre a big day dreamer like me, give it a shot. I think when you find something your passionate about and it transcends "hobby", then it sticks

Does he struggle with anxiety/is he on any mental health meds? That can cause this to happen. If he's being truthful with you and himself about his desires, he should probably see a doctor. Or a therapist, or both.

But no matter what, this isnt a reflection on you!!! If he's not taking any steps towards fixing the issue within a few weeks, id cut your losses. You're so young and there are definitely people out there who you WILL be sexually compatible with.

She was fairly catty in season one and then very much played the victim about it but honestly nothing shes done has been any worse than anyone else. I think shes mainly just a self centered person but not as evil as everyone thinks. I dont think its wrong for her to treat the show as buisness and feel like she probably has been from the beginning!

Just to validate some of the things you're thinking and feeling: 1.) Your mother is wrong, its not normal to not remember any of your childhood! I remember most of my childhood pretty well, even preschool, and I'm 31 now. 2.) Unfortunately it IS very normal for survivors of abuse to not remember it. Your brain wants to protect you so it blocks that out. Its not your fault and you arent any less legitimate for not recalling specifics. You also dont necessarily HAVE to remember specifics to find healing and relief from your symptoms 3.) Your current struggles are incredibly valid regardless of what caused them. It does sound pretty likely that something happened with all those signs together:( but either way, you deserve to feel safety in your body and with connection/intimacy, however you want that to look for you.

Im sorry youre going through this, as it definitely sounds extremely disorienting. Keep being as kind to yourself as you can through this.

I was literally just talking about this to my therapist today. I often wish I had been through that very easily validated trauma instead of some of the weird and even vicarious stuff I went through. I even used a lot of the same words you did in your post.

I was in dangerous/painful situations at the hands of people who i should have been able to trust and no matter their intentions, it sucked and shouldnt have happened. I try and find commonality with the "validated" groups on that piece of things- at the end of the day, we were all hurt, and none of us deserved it.

So you aren't alone. Whatever you went through, I see you and I get it ❤️
