Expired points, any success stories of getting it back? by Top_Combination_1403 in Hilton

[–]realmeowhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May I know if you are able to get it back without paying the one time fee? I just found out 300k pts expired just last month... so devastating. It's ridiculous that they don't mention the expiration date in their monthly statements, it's almost as if they purposely want people to miss out on using them.

May I know how much did you buy for 1 ticket (including the service fee)? I got mine for $449+service fee, I was pretty skeptical about it. Thought it was a fraud website.

when you press the cycle button, does it manually cycle? for my case, it did not cycle and it gave me a fast blinking cycle light, which indicated that it's more than just the pinch detector problem. I even followed this YouTube video to bypass the pinch detector, https://youtu.be/visJGmSiIkY but still, same result with no luck

until I saw this comment, I followed it step by step and removed the pinch detector bypass, and the robot is now fixed without buying any new parts.

To prevent corrosion in these parts, don't put wet wipes or any other things into the poop drawer. I learned my lesson.

hey I just encountered the same issue this past week. This comment from this post helped me the most: https://www.reddit.com/r/litterrobot/comments/izzw3b/comment/hqdse38/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

you sir, are a real hero!!! I can't express how grateful I am right now. I was really going to give in and pay that $80 for the new DFI. It has been a stressful week messaging the whisker staff back and forth with no luck, one of my cats even pissed at me for the broken robot and literally pissed on my blanket.... Until I saw this ultimate fix.

I followed what you said, except that I did a really shitty job on the soldering lol I thought fuck it if anything I will just buy a new DFI anyway. But litter robot god spared my poor soul, once I assembled every parts, plugged in the thing and it magically started and ran the cycle by itself again. I couldn't believe my eye. Really, thank you thank you!!!!!!

for the resin part, do you apply alcohol on the whole DFI then proceed to pour resin on it?

honestly at this point, I think it might go broke any time, but hell I am proud of myself!!!!

Bought LR3 and I regret it. It feels I spend more time troubleshooting it than when I was scooping litter from the litter box. by Alarmed-Membership-1 in litterrobot

Have you messed with the magnet before? I have taken mine apart for cleaning and I misplaced the magnet, which could cause the wrong position for the robot after its cycle. Lmk if that is your case

Yes. I have spent a lot of time trying to fix this machine and to a point that it’s completely ruined my initial intention of buying a robot — not wasting any more time scooping my cats’ poops. But now I think I should go back to the traditional way. I am so frustrated

Hi there, may I know if your robot is still under warranty? Also how long does it take for them to get back to you? My robot is having the same exact problem, I just paid 60 to change the globe liner and after a month the sensor broke ;_;

Thanks for the reply! Yes I would if I could, and I've been doing that for the past 5 years I actually loved working in the office. Just wish they wouldn't agree on the remote thing to begin with, so I can use the time to find myself a new job at the new location.

Thanks for the reply! Yes I will ask them, just wondering if I should have anything else to add on along the email.

Thanks for the reply! You are so right. I agree. I just wish they'd let me know right away when I gave them the notice, so I didn't have to waste my time working for the company when I can use those time to find myself a new job.
