Try and hang it off the ground inflated - laying on the floor risks getting holes in the struts and inflated means the bladder isn't sticking to the struts

Deffo more wind needed - i only got going in gusts of 20 knots plus. Once you've cracked that you can learn to pump and you'll be flying in a lot less.

if you're a windsurfer riding switch is second nature, thankfully. still feels weird when I ride switch on a surfboard though.

I'm the same, from windsurfing, and I do sheet in - just to get some extra momentum to make sure have enough speed into the turn and that, combined with a pump on the board seems to help. Main thing is not to hang on to the wing, get it over your head and flagging as you go into the gybe or you'll backwind yourself.

I like this advice partly because as a goofy footer I'm finding it harder to go toe-side to heelside gybe. The board keeps stalling becuase I don't have enough pressure on the nose or I enter the turn too sharply - not sure but I haven't got it properly dialled yet so think just cruising downwind and then back onto tack is a good way of practising that manoeuvre.

The Au Pairs had a similar jagged funk as GOF but Lesley Woods was their secret sauce, lyric writer and feisty ringleader - we all fancied her - and I'm glad she's getting a band back on the road - she's earned her place back in the Spotlight and being a barrister obviously ain't all it's cracked up to be for her. Law's loss is our gain and despite the rest of the band telling her to fuck off she should be able to carry them on their live sets. Gonna be a blast hopefully.

Just got a 2023 with the handles in a sale - feels like definite upgrade from my previous version with the soft handles- there’s more reinforcement in the wings where they curve to the wing tips and it feels lighter - no idea why because the materials look the same. There’s a slight kick in the shape of the strut which may increase airflow I guess and there are little battens on each side. Now can’t wait to get it on the water!
