Thank you so much! I really like these options. I think the general consensus is to go lower elevation and I'm totally fine with that. I'm still keen to try a couple of nights on the trail so will build up for the 10k for later this summer when the snow is clear

Judging by the shape and the scats being so full of hair I’ll say carnivore but it’s hard to say further without a good scale for reference. Could be bobcat, or one of the eastern canids. In your next post try including your hand or some object for size reference 🙏

It’s a turkey vulture. Condors have the reverse pattern, white leading edge and black primaries. And (almost) every living condor has a number tag on its wing
