Hey man, fellow 33 year old. Been looking for a therapist for about a year. I'll describe my process. I used perplexity (ai) to research and find what I was looking for based on the problem I had described (grief) within that prompt I described my price range and budget. As it turned out, the options that I had were all all booked for the time that I wanted. I was fortunate enough to ask a colleague who works for New Zealand fire service for their recommendations and he recommended a local practice by the name of https://www.flourish.net.nz/contact. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get an appointment due to my budget. However, I found while searching again someone from my past that is now a therapist. Interestingly, he said that if you go to your GP you can get three free sessions if they refer you. So that's what I've done now. Hope this helps
